Pada masa ini, psychological well-being menjadi aspek penting karena santri menghadapi tantangan seperti adaptasi dengan lingkungan baru, tekanan akademik, serta penyesuaian sosial di pondok pesantren. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan psychological well-being santri secara umum, mengidentifikasi perbedaan berdasarkan jenis kelamin, serta merancang layanan dasar bimbingan dan konseling guna mengembangkan psychological well-being santri. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Responden terdiri atas 131 santri kelas X dan XI SMA Al-Masthuriyah dengan teknik sampel jenuh. Instrumen penelitian berupa Psychological Well-Being Scale berdasarkan teori Carol Ryff yang diadaptasi oleh Ulfiah dan dimodifikasi peneliti. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar santri memiliki psychological well-being pada kategori sedang. Berdasarkan jenis kelamin, santri laki-laki cenderung berada pada kategori tinggi, sedangkan santri perempuan berada pada kategori sedang. Rancangan layanan dasar bimbingan sosial pribadi disusun berdasarkan profil psychological well-being santri dan disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan di pesantren. Temuan ini berimplikasi pada pentingnya peran guru bimbingan dan konseling dalam merancang program yang lebih terarah untuk mengembangkan psychological well-being santri. Santri in grades X and XI of senior high school are in the adolescent phase, which is characterized by significant physical, cognitive, emotional, and social changes. At this stage, psychological well-being becomes essential as santri face challenges such as adapting to a new environment, academic pressure, and social adjustment in the pesantren. This study aims to describe the psychological well-being of santri in general, identify differences based on gender, and design a basic personal-social guidance and counseling service to enhance their psychological well-being. The study employed a quantitative approach with a descriptive method. The respondents were 131 santri from grades X and XI of SMA Al-Masthuriyah, selected using a saturated sampling technique. The instrument used was the Psychological Well-Being Scale based on Carol Ryff’s theory, adapted by Ulfiah and modified by the researcher. The findings revealed that most santri had a moderate level of psychological well-being. Based on gender, male santri tended to fall into the high category, while female santri were in the moderate category. The design of the basic personal-social guidance service was developed according to the psychological well-being profile of santri and adjusted to the needs of the pesantren environment.
