Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif komparatif, penelitian ini melibatkan 42 siswa yang mengikuti kegiatan ekstrakurikuler futsal dan pancak silat yang dipilih melalui purposive sampling. Positive Youth Development Sustainability Scale (PYDSS) digunakan sebagai instrumen, yang mencakup enam indikator: karakter, kompetensi, koneksi, kepedulian, kepercayaan diri, dan kontribusi. Analisis data meliputi statistik deskriptif, uji normalitas dan homogenitas, dan uji-t sampel independen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar siswa memiliki tingkat PYD tinggi (47,6\%) hingga sangat tinggi (28,6\%). Meskipun skor rata-rata peserta futsal (108,80) sedikit lebih tinggi daripada peserta pencak silat (107,27), perbedaannya tidak signifikan secara statistik (p = 0,653). Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa baik olahraga berbasis tim maupun individu berkontribusi positif terhadap pengembangan PYD. Penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya program ekstrakurikuler yang dirancang dengan baik sebagai media untuk pembentukan karakter dan pengembangan psikososial dalam pendidikan dasar. This study aims to examine the positive youth development of elementary school students participating in extracurricular sports activities, specifically futsal and pencak silat, at SDN 053 Cisitu, Bandung. Using a comparative descriptive quantitative approach, this study involved 42 students participating in extracurricular futsal and pencak silat activities selected through purposive sampling. The Positive Youth Development Sustainability Scale (PYDSS) was used as an instrument, which includes six indicators: character, competence, connection, caring, confidence, and contribution. Data analysis included descriptive statistics, normality and homogeneity tests, and independent sample t-tests. The results showed that most students had high (47.6\%) to very high (28.6\%) levels of PYD. Although the average score of futsal participants (108.80) was slightly higher than that of pencak silat participants (107.27), the difference was not statistically significant (p = 0.653). These findings suggest that both team-based and individual sports contribute positively to the development of PYD. This study emphasizes the importance of well-designed extracurricular programs as a medium for character formation and psychosocial development in elementary education.} }
