%X ABSTRAK Dalam keterampilan abad 21 peserta didik didorong untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir. Salah satu dari kemampuan berpikir yang harus dikuasai oleh peserta didik adalah berpikir kreatif. Tujuan peneitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh model problem based learning terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif peserta didik kelas XI SMAN 1 Bungursari pada pelajaran geografi. Metode yang digunakan adalah quasi eksperimen jenis Non-Equivalen control grup desain yaitu kelas XI IPS 3 digunakan sebagai kelas kontrol dan XI IPS 2 digunakan sebagai kelas eksperimen. kelas eksperimen mendapat pre-test dan post-test dan perlakuan yang berbeda. Berpikir kreatif sebagai variabel dependen dan model problem based learning sebagai variabel independen. Instrumen penelitian berupa tes esai kemampuan berpikir kreatif dengan indikator fluency, flexibility, originality dan elaboration. Untuk menganalisis data mengunakan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas dan uji hipotesis statistik parametrik. Metode pengumpulan data yang diterapkan menggunakan instrumen tes, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa 1) Terdapat perbedaan tingkat kemampuan berpikir kreatif peserta didik pada kelas eksperimen sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan model problem based learning; 2) Terdapat perbedaan tingkat kemampuan berpikir kreatif peserta didik pada kelas kontrol sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional; 3) Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan mode problem based learning terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif. Hal ini ditunjukan dengan hasil hipotesis memperoleh nilai Sig.(2-tailed) 0,00 atau nilai sig. Dibawah 0,05 menunjukan bahwa H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan model problem based learning memiliki pengaruh terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif peserta didik pada mata pelajaran geografi. In 21st century skills, students are encouraged to improve their thinking abilities. One of the thinking skills that students must master is creative thinking. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of the problem based learning model on the creative thinking abilities of class XI students at SMAN 1 Bungursari in geography lessons. The method used was a quasi-experimental non-equivalent control group design, namely class XI IPS 3 was used as the control class and XI IPS 2 was used as the experimental class. the experimental class received a pre-test and post-test and different treatments. Creative thinking as the dependent variable and the problem based learning model as the independent variable. The research instrument is an essay test on creative thinking abilities with indicators of fluency, flexibility, originality and elaboration. To analyze the data using normality tests, homogeneity tests and parametric statistical hypothesis tests. The data collection method applied uses test instruments, observation and documentation. The research results show that 1) There are differences in the level of creative thinking abilities of students in the experimental class before and after using the problem based learning model; 2) There are differences in the level of creative thinking abilities of students in the control class before and after using conventional learning models; 3) There is a significant influence of the problem based learning mode on creative thinking abilities. This is indicated by a hypothesis result of 0.00, or a sig value. Below 0.05 indicates that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. So it can be concluded that the use of the problem based learning model has an influence on students' creative thinking abilities in geography subjects
