description: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatakan kemampuan siswa dalam mengapresiasi teks narasi dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII. E SMPN 4 Cikarang Utara tahun pelajaran 2024/2025 yang berjumlah 34 siswa, 16 laki-laki dan 18 perempuan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas yang dikembangkan oleh Stephen Kemmis dan Robin M. Taggart. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan 2 siklus, setiap siklus terdiri atas satu pertemuan dengan alokasi waktu 2x40 menit. Adapun dalam setiap siklus terdapat empat langkah-langkah, yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Instrumen penelitian ini terdiri dari observasi dan tes formatif. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan yang cukup signifikan. Hal tersebut dapat dilihat dari hasil tes formatif masing-masing siklus. Pada siklus satu didapatkan hasil dengan rata-rata nilai 75,88 dan pada siklus dua diperoleh hasil dengan rata-rata 81,47. Dilihat dari hasil belajar siswa yang mengalami peningkatan, maka model pembelajaran kooperatif dapat diterapkan dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar bahasa Indonesia khususnya dalam lingkup materi teks narasi.     The study aims to enhance students' ability to appreciate the narrative text by applying a cooperative learning model. The subject in this study is class vii students. E SMPN 4 north teachers year of 2024/2025 lessons totaling 34 students, 16 boys and 18 girls. The study USES a class action study method developed by Stephen kemmis and robin m. taggart. Research is done using 2 cycles, each of which consists of one meeting with a time location of 2x40 minutes. As for each cycle there are four steps, namely planning, execution, observation, and reflection. This research instrument consists of formative observation and testing. The results of this study indicate significant improvement. They can be seen from the results of each one's formative test cycle. On cycle one obtained results with an average of 75.88 and on cycle two obtained results with an average of 81.47. Judging from the results of improved students' learning, the cooperative learning model could be applied to Indonesian teaching activities especially in the context of narrative text material.
