Rendahnya variasi gerak serta kurangnya keterlibatan siswa secara aktif dalam pembelajaran tari menunjukkan perlunya pendekatan baru yang kontekstual dan merangsang imajinasi siswa. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk melaporkan dan mendeskripsikan hasil penerapan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning dengan stimulus perilaku binatang dalam meningkatkan kreativitas tari siswa kelas VIII di SMP Laboratorium Percontohan UPI. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pre-eksperimental dengan desain One Shot Case Study, melibatkan 22 siswa sebagai subjek. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, angket, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif menggunakan SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model ini mampu meningkatkan empat aspek kreativitas, yaitu fluency, flexibility, originality, dan elaboration, dengan skor rata-rata kreativitas sebesar 79,77 yang termasuk dalam kategori tinggi. Siswa menunjukkan antusiasme dan kemampuan eksplorasi gerak yang signifikan melalui stimulus gerak perilaku binatang. Kesimpulannya, pembelajaran seni tari dengan pendekatan Project Based Learning berbasis stimulus kontekstual mampu menjadi strategi yang efektif dalam mengembangkan kreativitas siswa. Rekomendasi bagi peneliti selanjutnya adalah mengeksplorasi lebih lanjut penggunaan media visual atau digital sebagai stimulus tambahan dalam pengembangan kreativitas tari siswa. This research is motivated by the importance of developing creativity in dance learning, especially at the junior high school level, so that students are not simply imitators but are able to explore movement ideas independently and in an original way. The low variety of movements and the lack of active student involvement in dance learning indicate the need for a new, contextual approach that stimulates students' imagination. This article aims to report and describe the results of implementing the Project-Based Learning model with animal behavior as a stimulus to enhance dance creativity in eighth-grade students at the UPI Laboratory Junior High School. This study used a pre-experimental method with a One-Shot Case Study design, involving 22 students as subjects. Data were collected through observation, questionnaires, and documentation, then analyzed descriptively and quantitatively using SPSS. The results showed that this model was able to improve four aspects of creativity: fluency, flexibility, originality, and elaboration, with an average creativity score of 79.77, which is considered high. Students demonstrated significant enthusiasm and movement exploration skills through animal behavior stimuli. In conclusion, dance learning using a project-based learning approach based on contextual stimuli can be an effective strategy for developing students' creativity. Recommendations for future researchers include further exploring the use of visual or digital media as additional stimuli in developing students' dance creativity. ER -
