This study aims to address the limited analysis of rhythmic motifs in children's songs and less creative teaching methods by examining the introduction of rhythmic patterns using the Carl Orff method in elementary schools. Employing a mixed methods approach, the research analyzed children's song scores and observed classroom learning at SDN 4 Maleber, and collected data through a musical test. The findings show that the dominant rhythmic motif is repetition, which is effective for children's memory and facilitates active student participation. The implementation of the Carl Orff method, which includes exploration, imitation, improvisation, and creation, was proven to enhance student engagement, understanding of rhythmic patterns, creativity, and collaboration. The quantitative data from the musical test further confirmed that the majority of students achieved a good level of mastery. In conclusion, the Carl Orff method is effective for introducing rhythmic patterns through a fun and participatory hands-on experience, and is thus recommended for developing music education in elementary schools. date: 2025-08-28 type: Thesis type: NonPeerReviewed format: text language: id identifier: http://repository.upi.edu/142413/8/S_PGSD_2106053_Tittle.pdf format: text language: id identifier: http://repository.upi.edu/142413/2/S_PGSD_2106053_Chapter1.pdf format: text language: id identifier: http://repository.upi.edu/142413/3/S_PGSD_2106053_Chapter2.pdf format: text language: id identifier: http://repository.upi.edu/142413/4/S_PGSD_2106053_Chapter3.pdf format: text language: id identifier: http://repository.upi.edu/142413/5/S_PGSD_2106053_Chapter4.pdf format: text language: id identifier: http://repository.upi.edu/142413/7/S_PGSD_2106053_Chapter5.pdf format: text language: id identifier: http://repository.upi.edu/142413/1/S_PGSD_2106053_Appendix.pdf identifier: Sesy Nugraha, - and Resa Respati, - and Pidi Mohamad Setiadi, - (2025) PENGENALAN POLA RITMIS LAGU ANAK MELALUI METODE CARL ORFF PADA SISWA SEKOLAH DASAR.
