Pembelajaran seni tari di SMPN 2 Bandung masih didominasi metode peniruan, sehingga diperlukan pendekatan inovatif seperti mindful learning yang menekankan kesadaran penuh, keterlibatan aktif, dan refleksi diri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis efektivitas pendekatan mindful learning dalam meningkatkan kreativitas tari siswa kelas VIII di SMPN 2 Bandung. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen one group pretest-posttest design. Subjek penelitian adalah 30 siswi kelas VIII C, F, G, dan K di SMPN 2 Bandung yang mengikuti mata pelajaran seni tari. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi serta tes praktik (pretest dan posttest) yang mengukur empat indikator kreativitas tari menurut Guilford (1950): kelancaran (fluency), keaslian (originality), fleksibilitas (flexibility), dan elaborasi (elaboration). Hasil uji t menunjukkan nilai t hitung = -35,016 dengan derajat kebebasan (df) = 29 dan nilai signifikansi (Sig. 2-tailed) sebesar 0.000. Karena nilai signifikansi jauh lebih kecil dari batas kritis 0,05, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang sangat signifikan antara hasil pretest dan posttest, menunjukkan terdapat peningkatan signifikan pada kreativitas belajar siswa. Penerapan mindful learning memberikan dampak positif pendekatan mindful learning terbukti sangat efektif dalam meningkatkan kreativitas tari siswa kelas VIII SMPN 2 Bandung. Keberhasilan ini dicapai karena pendekatan ini berhasil mendorong siswa untuk lebih sadar akan proses belajar, berani berekspresi, terbuka terhadap ide-ide baru. The problems in the research show low creativity in students' dance, which is characterized by a lack of ideas, minimal exploration of movement, a tendency to imitate, and low self-confidence. Dance learning at SMPN 2 Bandung is still dominated by imitation methods, so an innovative approach is needed such as Mindful Learning which emphasizes full awareness, active involvement, and self-reflection. This study aims to describe and analyze the effectiveness of the Mindful Learning approach in improving dance creativity of grade VIII students at SMPN 2 Bandung. This study uses a quantitative approach with an experimental method of one group pretest-posttest design. The subjects of the study were 30 female students of grade VIII C, F, G, and K at SMPN 2 Bandung who took dance subjects. Data was collected through observation, interviews, documentation and practical tests (pretest and posttest) that measure four indicators of dance creativity according to Guilford (1950): fluency, originality, flexibility, and elaboration. The t-test results show a calculated t-value of -35.016 with degrees of freedom (df) = 29 and a significance value (Sig. 2-tailed) of 0.000. Because the significance value is much smaller than the critical limit of 0.05, it can be concluded that there is a very significant difference between the pretest and posttest results, indicating a significant increase in student learning creativity. The application of mindful learning has a positive impact. The mindful learning approach has been proven to be very effective in increasing the dance creativity of class VIII students of SMPN 2 Bandung.
