Perencanaan dan perancangan Galeri Seni Galur Berung di Kota Bandung bertujuan untuk menciptakan wadah pelestarian dan pengembangan seni budaya Sunda sebagai bentuk solusi terhadap pudarnya seni budaya tradisional di tengah masyarakat, serta mampu mewadahi seni dan budaya modern. Melalui konsep arsitektur tradisional Sunda, untuk mengangkat nilai-nilai masyarakat Sunda, galeri dirancang dengan memperhatikan kenyamanan pengalaman ruang pamer sehingga bermakna bagi pengunjung. Berlokasi di Kecamatan Ujung Berung, sebagai kawasan dengan potensi rencana pengambangan Sundapolis sebagai destinasi wisata berbasis budaya. Fasilitas ini direncanakan meliputi ruang pameran, auditorium pertunjukan, workshop, toko cinderamata, dan ruang penunjang lainnya. Galeri ini diharapkan menjadi pusat seni yang inklusif, edukatif, dan inspiratif, sekaligus mendukung ekonomi kreatif di Kota Bandung melalui peningkatan apresiasi dan pelestarian terhadap seni lokal dan global. \r\n\r\nThe influence of globalization on society has raised concerns about the fading presence of local arts and culture. The lack of adequate art facilities in Bandung and the rapid development of modern art compounds this issue. The planning and design of the Bandung Galur Berung Art Gallery aim to create a space for the preservation and development of Sundanese arts and culture as a solution to the diminishing presence of traditional arts in society while also accommodating modern arts and culture. By incorporating traditional Sundanese architectural concepts to highlight Sundanese cultural values, the gallery is designed to enhance the spatial experience of exhibitions, making them meaningful for visitors. Located in Ujung Berung District, an area with potential for the development of Sundapolis as a culture-based tourism destination, the facility will include exhibition halls, a performance auditorium, workshops, a souvenir shop, and other supporting spaces.\r\nThis gallery is envisioned as an inclusive, educational, and inspiring art center that supports Bandung's creative economy by fostering appreciation and preservation of both local and global arts."^^<http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema#string> .
