Latar belakang penelitian ini didasari oleh pentingnya peran sekolah sebagai lingkungan pendidikan formal dalam upaya pencegahan kekerasan, khususnya bullying, yang dapat berdampak negatif pada kondisi psikologis maupun prestasi belajar siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Informan dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari guru Bimbingan dan Konseling, siswa, dan pihak sekolah yang terlibat dalam kegiatan sosialisasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan sosialisasi pencegahan bullying dilakukan melalui berbagai bentuk kegiatan seperti Roots Day yang melakukan penyuluhan, diskusi kelompok, serta kampanye anti-bullying. Sosialisasi ini melibatkan guru Bimbingan Konseling, Dinas Pendidikan dan Siswa yang dilaksanakan dalam bentuk yang edukatif dan partisipatif. Adapun bentuk kegiatan yang diintergrasikan ke dalam aktivitas pembelajaran. Materi yang disampaikan meliputi pengenalan bentuk-bentuk bullying, dampak yang ditimbulkan, serta strategi pencegahan dan penanganannya. Secara umum, kegiatan sosialisasi berhasil meningkatkan kesadaran siswa terhadap pentingnya menciptakan lingkungan sekolah yang aman dan nyaman. Namun, masih ditemukan beberapa hambatan seperti keterbatasan waktu, belum meratanya pemahaman seluruh siswa, serta minimnya evaluasi berkelanjutan. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan perbaikan dalam perencanaan program serta dukungan yang lebih maksimal dari seluruh elemen sekolah agar upaya pencegahan bullying dapat berjalan secara efektif dan berkelanjutan. This study aims to describe the implementation of bullying prevention socialization at SMA Negeri 18 Bandung. The background of this research is based on the crucial role of schools as formal educational environments in efforts to prevent violence, particularly bullying, which can negatively affect students' psychological conditions and academic performance. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques including interviews and documentation. The informants in this study consist of guidance and counseling teachers, students, and school officials involved in the socialization activities. The findings reveal that the bullying prevention socialization is carried out through various activities such as Roots Day, which includes counseling sessions, group discussions, and anti-bullying campaigns. The program involves guidance and counseling teachers, the Education Office, and students, and is conducted in an educational and participatory manner. Several activities are also integrated into classroom learning. The materials presented cover the identification of bullying types, the negative impacts, as well as strategies for prevention and handling. In general, the socialization activities have been effective in raising students’ awareness of the importance of creating a safe and comfortable school environment. However, several challenges remain, such as time constraints, uneven understanding among students, and the lack of continuous evaluation.
