Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh keterbatasan kemampuan motorik yang dialami anak down syndrome yang memiliki keterbatasan pada otot-otot sehingga mempunyai kertebatasa dalam gerak, khususnya dalam mengikuti pembelajaran tari Jaipong. Anak berkebutuhan khusus memerlukan pendekatan pembelajaran yang sesuai agar dapat berpartisipasi dengan maksimal dalam mengikuti kegiatan secara optimal. Subjek penelitian adalah satu orang anak down syndrome yang mengikuti pelatihan tari di Sanggar Padepokan Sekar Panggung. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan pre-exsperimental designs (One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design). Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui pedoman wawancara, pedoman observasi, dan pedoman dokumentasi sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan. Data hasil temuan penerapan dalam bentuk angka dianalisis menggunakan aplikasi IBM SPSS statistic 27. Hasil analisis memperoleh nilai signifikasi (2-tailed) sebesar 0,000 < 0,05, ini menunjukan maka hipotesis nol (H0) ditolak dan hipotesis altertatif (Ha) diterima. Signifikansi skor motorik kasar sebesar 14,49% dan motorik halus 9,79% pada aspek motorik seperti koordinasi gerak, keseimbangan tubuh, ketepatan irama, serta penguasaan properti tari. Model pembelajaran multisensori terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan motorik siswa down syndrome melalui pendekatan visual, auditorial, kinestetik dan taktil yang terintergrasi di Sanggar Padepokan Sekar Panggung. The purpose of this study was to obtain data on the effectiveness of multisensory learning models on Jaipong Waledan dance material in improving the motor skills of children with Down syndrome. This research is motivated by the limited motor abilities experienced by children with Down syndrome who have limitations in the muscles so that they have difficulty in movement, especially in participating in Jaipong dance learning. Children with special needs need an appropriate learning approach so that they can participate optimally in participating in activities optimally. The research subject was one child with Down syndrome who participated in dance training at Sekar Panggung Dance Studio. This research uses a quantitative method with a pre-exsperimental design approach (One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design). Data collection techniques were carried out through interview guidelines, observation guidelines, and documentation guidelines before and after treatment. Data from the application findings in the form of numbers were analyzed using the IBM SPSS statistic 27 application. The analysis results obtained a significance value (2-tailed) of 0.000 <0.05, this indicates that the null hypothesis (H0) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. The significance of gross motor score is 14.49% and fine motor 9.79% on motor aspects such as coordination of movement, body balance, rhythm accuracy, and mastery of dance properties.
