Latar belakang penelitian ini didasari oleh pentingnya pengembangan karakter sejak usia dini, khususnya tanggung jawab, yang dapat dilatih melalui aktivitas nyata dan bermakna. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen dengan desain penelitian nonequivalent pretest posttest control group design. Subjek penelitian yaitu anak kelompok B di TK Kartini Bina Putera, yang dibagi menjadi kelas eksperimen (B1) dan kelas kontrol (B2). Instrumen pengumpulan data berupa lembar observasi yang telah divalidasi ahli. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan uji statistik yang relevan untuk mengukur perbedaan peningkatan sikap tanggung jawab pada kedua kelompok. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan signifikan sikap tanggung jawab pada anak yang mengikuti kegiatan menanam sayur kangkung dengan anak kelompok kontrol. Nilai N-Gain yang diperoleh berada pada kategori sedang hingga tinggi, yang mengindikasikan bahwa pembelajaran berbasis proyek melalui menanam kangkung efektif dalam menumbuhkan sikap tanggung jawab anak usia dini. Temuan ini merekomendasikan agar pendidik memanfaatkan kegiatan bercocok tanam sebagai strategi pembelajaran yang kontekstual dan menyenangkan dalam mengembangkan karakter anak, khususnya tanggung jawab, sejak usia dini. This study aims to determine the effect of project-based learning on the theme of vegetables on the attitude of responsibility in early childhood. The background of this study is based on the importance of character development from an early age, especially responsibility, which can be trained through real and meaningful activities. The research method used is an experiment with a nonequivalent pretest posttest control group design. The subjects of the study were children in group B at Kartini Bina Putera Kindergarten, which was divided into an experimental class (B1) and a control class (B2). The data collection instrument was an observation sheet that had been validated by experts. Data analysis was carried out using relevant statistical tests to measure differences in the increase in attitudes of responsibility in the two groups. The results showed that there was a significant difference in attitudes of responsibility in children who participated in the activity of planting kale and children in the control group. The N-Gain value obtained was in the medium to high category, which indicates that project-based learning through planting kale is effective in fostering attitudes of responsibility in early childhood.
