Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui konsep pembelajaran tari kipas pakarena serta mendeksripsikan proses pembelajaran di dalam ekstrakurikuler seni tari SMAN 5 Cimahi. Metode yang digunakan deskriptif dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu 10 peserta didik ekstrakurikuler SMAN 5 Cimahi. Data yang dikumpulkan melalui observasi dan wawancara serta dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian bahwa peserta bisa mengenal kekayaan tari yang ada di Indonesia ini karena peserta didik memiliki minat tinggi dan aktif terlibat dalam setiap sesi latihan cenderung menunjukkan penguasaan yang lebih baik. Pelaksanaan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler tari kipas pakarena di SMAN 5 Cimahi dirancang dengan pendekatan yang berpusat pada kenyamanan dan kesenangan peserta didik Pembelajaran tari ini tidak hanya terbatas pada penguasaan aspek motorik berupa gerakan tari semata. Pembelajaran tari kipas pakarena kegiatan pembelajaran ekstrakurikuler telah memberikan dampak signifikan terhadap pemahaman dan apresiasi peserta didik terhadap budaya lokal ini terwujud melalui penyampaian informasi menyeluruh yang mengenai latar belakang sejarah Pakarena Fan Dance Learning in Dance Arts Extracurricular Activities Extracurricular arts activities in senior high schools are learning activities that support arts and culture subjects. The pattern of extracurricular arts activities developed in schools emphasizes providing a variety of artistic practical experiences and is important to help develop students according to the needs, potential, talents and interests of senior high school students. This study aims to determine the concept of learning the Pakarena fan dance and describe the learning process in the dance extracurricular of SMAN 5 Cimahi. The method used is descriptive using a qualitative approach. The subjects of this study were 10 extracurricular students of SMAN 5 Cimahi. Data were collected through observation and interviews as well as documentation. The results of the study that participants can recognize the richness of dance in Indonesia because students have a high interest and are actively involved in each practice session tend to show better mastery. The implementation of the Pakarena fan dance extracurricular activities at SMAN 5 Cimahi is designed with an approach that focuses on the comfort and enjoyment of students. This dance learning is not only limited to mastering the motoric aspects of dance movements alone. Learning the Pakarena fan dance as an extracurricular learning activity has had a significant impact on students' understanding and appreciation of local culture.
