%X Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan instrumen penilaian diri pada pembelajaran teks eksplanasi bermuatan literasi emosi di sekolah dasar. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode pengembangan Educational Design Research (EDR) dengan tiga tahapan dalam pengembangannya, yakni: (1) Analysis and Exploration; (2) Design and Construction; and (3) Evaluation and Reflection. Subjek penelitian ini meliputi peserta didik kelas V SDN Adan SDN B. Temuan hasil analisis dan eksplorasi menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan pembelajaran di sekolah dasar belum mengintegrasikan aspek literasi emosi, khususnya dalam pembelajaran teks eksplanasi. Di samping itu, instrumen penilaian diri belum digunakan oleh pendidik sebagai bagian dari strategi evaluasi pembelajaran. Validasi oleh ahli ahli menunjuka bahwa produk buku instrumen penilaian diri berada pada kategori “Sangat Layak” dengan persentase 90,740%. Implementasi dilakukan melalui dua siklus uji coba, tahap pertama, produk instrumen penilaian diri memeperoleh persentase 94% dan respons terhadap penggunaan buku memperoleh persentase 80%. Sedangkan pada tahap kedua produk instrumen penilaian diri memperoleh persentase 96% dan respons terhadap penggunaan buku memperoleh persentase 100%. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa instrumen penilaian diri ini layak dan praktis untuk digunakan sebagai alat evaluasi dalam pembelajaran, khususnya pada pembelajaran teks eksplanasi bermuatan literasi emosi. This study aims to develop a self-assessment instrument for learning explanatory texts containing emotional literacy in elementary schools. The method used is the Educational Design Research (EDR) development method with three stages in its development, namely: (1) Analysis and Exploration; (2) Design and Construction; and (3) Evaluation and Reflection. The subjects of this study included fifth-grade students of SDN A and SDN B. The findings of the analysis and exploration results indicate that the implementation of learning in elementary schools has not integrated aspects of emotional literacy, especially in learning explanatory texts. In addition, self-assessment instruments have not been used by educators as part of the learning evaluation strategy. Validation by experts shows that the self-assessment instrument book product is in the "Very Appropriate" category with a percentage of 90.740%. Implementation was carried out through two trial cycles, in the first stage, the self-assessment instrument product obtained a percentage of 94% and the response to the use of the book obtained a percentage of 80%. While in the second stage, the self-assessment instrument product obtained a percentage of 96% and the response to the use of the book obtained a percentage of 100%.
