Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode quasi experiment dengan desain nonequivalent control group design. Subjek penelitian yaitu kelas X-6 (kelas eksperimen) dan X-3 (kelas kontrol). Terdapat 2 variabel dalam penelitian ini yaitu make a match sebagai variabel bebas dengan sintaks: menyampaikan tujuan dan motivasi siswa, menyajikan informasi, mengorganisasi siswa kedalam tim-tim belajar, membimbing kelompok kerja dan belajar, evaluasi, dan memberi penghargaan. Sedangkan variabel terikat yaitu motivasi belajar dengan indikator adanya hasrat dan keinginan berhasil, adanya dorongan dan kebutuhan dalam belajar, adanya harapan dan cita-cita masa depan, adanya penghargaan dalam belajar, adanya kegiatan yang menarik dalam belajar, adanya lingkungan belajar yang kondusif sehingga memungkinkan seseorang siswa dapat belajar dengan baik. Instrumen menggunakan angket, observasi, tes, LKPD dan unjuk kerja. Analisis data menggunakan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, uji hipotesis (uji t). Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa: 1) Terdapat perbedaan motivasi belajar sebelum dan sesudah diberikan treatment dengan hasil uji diperoleh nilai signifikansi (2-tailed) 0,000 yang berarti <0,5. 2) Terdapat perbedaan motivasi belajar sebelum dan sesudah tetapi tidak signifikan dengan hasil uji diperoleh nilai signifikansi 0,318 yang berarti >0,5. 3) Terdapat perbedaan motivasi belajar siswa antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol diperoleh nilai signifikansi (2-tailed) 0,000. This study aims to determine the influence of the make a match learning model on learning motivation. This study uses a quantitative approach with a quasi experiment method with a nonequivalent control group design. The research subjects are class X-6 (experimental class 1) and X-3 (experimental class 2). There are 2 variables in this study, namely make a match as a free variable with syntax: conveying students' goals and motivations, presenting information, organizing students into learning teams, guiding work and study groups, evaluating, and giving awards. Meanwhile, the bound variables are learning motivation with indicators of the desire and desire to succeed, the existence of encouragement and need in learning, the existence of future hopes and ideals, the existence of rewards in learning, the existence of interesting activities in learning, the existence of a conducive learning environment so that a student can learn well.
