Latar belakang penelitian didasari oleh rendahnya kreativitas gerak tari siswa dikarenakan guru lebih memfokuskan pada pengembangan motorik halus, sehingga terbatasnya kesempatan siswa untuk mengeksplorasi gerakan tari. Pendekatan tari pendidikan yang digunakan mengacu pada teori Anne Green Gilbert, yang meliputi tahapan exploring the concept, developing skill, creating, dan evaluating. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pre-eksperimental dengan desain one group pretest-posttest yang melibatkan 20 siswa TK B(1). Instrumen penelitian terdiri dari observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, serta tes pretest dan posttest. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan yang signifikan pada kreativitas gerak tari siswa setelah diterapkan pendekatan tari pendidikan. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan hasil uji statistik paired sample t-test yang menunjukkan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0.0001 (p < 0.05) dan nilai t-hitung sebesar 39.635, jauh lebih besar dibandingkan t-tabel 1.729. Siswa menunjukkan peningkatan kepercayaan diri, kemampuan berimajinasi, ekspresi gerak yang lebih bebas, dan antusiasme yang tinggi dalam mengikuti kegiatan pembelajaran tari. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa pendekatan tari pendidikan efektif dalam meningkatkan kreativitas gerak tari anak usia dini dan dapat dijadikan strategi pembelajaran seni yang menyenangkan dan bermakna di pendidikan taman kanak-kanak. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the application of the educational dance approach in increasing the creativity of students' dance movements in Bina Insan Cemerlang Kindergarten. The background of the research is based on the low creativity of students' dance movements because teachers focus more on developing fine motor skills, so that there are limited opportunities for students to explore dance movements. The educational dance approach used refers to Anne Green Gilbert's theory, which includes the stages of exploring the concept, developing skill, creating, and evaluating. This study used a pre-experimental method with a one group pretest-posttest design involving 20 students of Kindergarten B(1). The research instruments consist of observation, interviews, documentation, as well as pretest and posttest tests. The results of the study showed that there was a significant increase in the creativity of students' dance movements after the implementation of the educational dance approach. This is evidenced by the results of the paired sample t-test which showed a significance value of 0.0001 (p < 0.05) and a t-count value of 39,635, much larger than the t-table of 1,729. Students show increased self-confidence, imagination skills, freer expression of movement, and high enthusiasm in participating in dance learning activities.
