Namun, kenyataannya keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik saat ini masih rendah karena masih terbatasnya media pembelajaran yang interaktif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media pembelajaran berbasis Augmented Reality terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik pada mata pelajaran geografi di SMA Negeri 1 Kuningan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode Quasi Eksperiment dan desain Non-Equivalent Control Group. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI di SMAN 1 Kuningan tahun ajaran 2024/2025, dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 72 siswa yang terdiri dari 36 siswa kelas eksperimen dan 36 siswa kelas kontrol. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan terdiri dari instrumen tes dan non tes berupa angket. Instrumen tes dibuat berdasarkan lima indikator keterampilan berpikir kritis, yaitu kemampuan menganalisis, mensintesis, pemecahan masalah, menyimpulkan, dan mengevaluasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu uji hipotesis dengan menggunakan uji-t berpasangan (paired sample t-test), uji N-Gain dan uji regresi linear sederhana. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata kelas eksperimen pada pretest yaitu sebesar 51,67 dan nilai rata-rata pada posttest meningkat menjadi 85,42 dengan nilai rata-rata N-Gain sebesar 68,22%. Hasil uji paired sample t-test juga menunjukkan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 (p <0,05), artinya terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara pretest dan posttest. Selain itu, hasil uji regresi linear menunjukkan pengaruh indikator 1 variabel X sebesar 18,2%, indikator 2 variabel X sebesar 16,4% dan indikator 3 variabel X sebesar 11,9% terhadap peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran Augmented Reality berpengaruh signifikan terhadap peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik pada mata pelajaran geografi. Kata Kunci: Media Augmented Reality, Keterampilan Berpikir Kritis. ABSTRACT Critical thinking skills are very important skills for students in the 21st century. However, in reality, students' critical thinking skills are currently still low due to the limited availability of interactive learning media. This study aims to determine the effect of the use of Augmented Reality-based learning media on students' critical thinking skills in geography subjects at SMA Negeri 1 Kuningan. This study uses a quantitative approach with a Quasi-Experimental method and a Non-Equivalent Control Group design. The population in this study were grade XI students at SMAN 1 Kuningan in the 2024/2025 academic year, with a sample of 72 students consisting of 36 students in the experimental class and 36 students in the control class. The research instruments used consisted of test and non-test instruments in the form of questionnaires. The test instruments were made based on five indicators of critical thinking skills, namely the ability to analyze, synthesize, problem solve, conclude, and evaluate. The data analysis techniques used were hypothesis testing using paired sample t-tests, N-Gain tests, and simple linear regression tests. The results of this study indicate that the average value of the experimental class in the pretest was 51.67 and the average value in the posttest increased to 85.42 with an average N-Gain value of 68.22%. The results of the paired sample t-test also showed a significance value of 0.000 (p <0.05), meaning there was a significant difference between the pretest and posttest. In addition, the results of the linear regression test showed the influence of indicator 1 variable X of 18.2%, indicator 2 variable X of 16.4% and indicator 3 variable X of 11.9% on improving critical thinking skills. The results of the study indicate that Augmented Reality learning media has a significant effect on improving students' critical thinking skills in geography subjects.
