Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan produk berupa media pembelajaran berbasis Android sebagai upaya untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep energi alternatif peserta didik Fase C Sekolah Dasar. Untuk menjawab permasalahan tersebut, penelitian ini menggunakan metode D&D (Design and Development) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, angket validasi ahli, tes, serta angket respon peserta didik, kemudian dianalisis secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Produk yang dikembangkan berupa media SEAL berbasis android yang memuat materi energi alternatif. Media pembelajaran ini dapat dioperasikan melalui smartphone atau perangkat android, sehingga dapat digunakan kapan saja dan di mana saja, baik dengan bimbingan guru maupun tanpa bimbingan guru. Hasil validasi ahli diperoleh rata-rata 95% menunjukkan bahwa media termasuk kategori “sangat layak” untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran, perolehan rata-rata N-Gain terkait tingkat efektivitas media sebesar 0,70 termasuk dalam kategori “tinggi”, sementara hasil angket respon peserta didik terhadap media diperoleh persentase sebesar 85% menunjukkan bahwa media ini mendapatkan respon “sangat baik”. Dengan demikian, media SEAL berbasis android layak digunakan sebagai penunjang pembelajaran, serta efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konsep energi alternatif peserta didik Fase C Sekolah Dasar. This study was motivated by the low level of understanding among students regarding the concept of alternative energy, which is caused by teacher-centered learning, including the use of conventional media that relies solely on textbooks. The purpose of this study is to develop an Android-based learning media product as an effort to improve the understanding of alternative energy concepts among Phase C elementary school students. To address this issue, this study uses the D&D (Design and Development) method with the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) development model. Data were collected through interviews, expert validation questionnaires, tests, and student response questionnaires, then analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. The product developed is an Android-based SEAL media containing alternative energy material. This learning media can be operated via a smartphone or Android device, so it can be used anytime and anywhere, either with or without teacher guidance. The expert validation results obtained an average of 95%, indicating that the media is “highly feasible” for use in learning. The average N-Gain score related to the media's effectiveness was 0.70, which is in the ‘high’ category, while the student response questionnaire results for the media obtained a percentage of 85%, indicating that this media received a “very good” response.
