Temuan awal adanya indikasi kurang efektif dalam penggunaan sistem pengelolaan transportasi. Adanya fitur dalam sistem yang belum sesuai dengan kebutuhan menjadi hal yang perlu dianalisis. Selanjutnya penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerimaan sistem Transportation Management System (TMS) pada PT. Tri Mandiri Kargo menggunakan pendekatan Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). Fokus utama diarahkan pada dua fungsi dalam sistem yang belum berjalan optimal, yaitu fitur laporan bulanan dan penentuan rute pengiriman. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam terhadap tiga informan internal perusahaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem TMS dianggap cukup membantu dalam proses pelaporan, namun masih mengalami keterbatasan dalam menarik data secara menyeluruh dan belum mendukung integrasi otomatis untuk penentuan rute. Selain itu, sistem belum terhubung dengan API eksternal seperti Google Maps, sehingga pengguna memilih metode manual dalam pengelolaan rute pengiriman. Berdasarkan analisis indikator TAM, ditemukan bahwa persepsi kegunaan dan kemudahan penggunaan sistem tergolong positif, namun penggunaan aktual belum sepenuhnya optimal. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan pengembangan fitur pelaporan yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan manajerial serta integrasi sistem rute otomatis agar TMS dapat dimanfaatkan secara maksimal dalam operasional perusahaan. This study is based on a preliminary investigation conducted at a freight forwarding company concerning issues in operational management. Initial findings indicated inefficiencies in the use of the transportation management system. Certain system features were found to be misaligned with operational needs, prompting further analysis. The purpose of this research is to analyze the acceptance of the Transportation Management System (TMS) at PT. Tri Mandiri Kargo using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) framework. The study focuses specifically on two underperforming system functions: the monthly reporting feature and the route planning functionality. A qualitative research method was employed, with data collected through in-depth interviews with three internal company informants. The findings reveal that while the TMS system is considered helpful in the reporting process, it still faces limitations in extracting comprehensive data and does not yet support automated route planning. Moreover, the system lacks integration with external APIs such as Google Maps, leading users to rely on manual methods for managing delivery routes. Based on the analysis using TAM indicators, the perceived usefulness and ease of use of the system were generally positive; however, actual system usage remains suboptimal. The study recommends developing reporting features tailored to managerial needs and integrating automated routing capabilities to maximize the effectiveness of the TMS in supporting company operations.
