Gerakan Literasi Sekolah merupakan program yang digagas oleh Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan untuk menumbuhkan budaya membaca di lingkungan sekolah melalui kegiatan membaca 15 menit sebelum pembelajaran dimulai. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya minat baca peserta didik serta penerapan GLS yang belum optimal, khususnya pasca pandemi Covid-19. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan subjek penelitian mencakup kepala sekolah, guru kelas IV, peserta didik, dan orang tua di SDN A Kabupaten Garut. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dengan pendekatan tematik dilakukan dengan memahami data, menyusun kode, dan mencari tema. Selain itu dilakukan dengan tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan GLS pada tahap pembiasaan telah dilaksanakan di kelas IV, ditandai dengan kegiatan membaca 15 menit setiap pagi, penyediaan pojok baca, pemilihan buku sesuai minat peserta didik, serta pelibatan publik seperti orang tua dalam mendukung kegiatan literasi di rumah. Namun, terdapat beberapa kendala seperti keterbatasan koleksi buku non-pelajaran dan belum meratanya pelaksanaan GLS di semua kelas. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa pelaksanaan tahap pembiasaan dalam GLS di kelas IV SDN A berjalan cukup baik tetapi belum optimal. Diperlukan peningkatan sarana literasi dan perluasan pelaksanaan program ke seluruh jenjang kelas untuk hasil yang lebih optimal. This study aims to describe the implementation of the School Literacy Movement (GLS) at the habituation stage in grade IV of Elementary School. The School Literacy Movement is a program initiated by the Ministry of Education and Culture to foster a reading culture in the school environment through 15-minute reading activities before learning begins. This study was motivated by the low interest in reading among students and the less than optimal implementation of GLS, especially after the Covid-19 pandemic. This study used a qualitative approach with research subjects including the principal, grade IV teachers, students, and parents at SDN A Garut Regency. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis with a thematic approach was carried out by understanding the data, compiling codes, and finding themes. In addition, it was carried out with the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study showed that the implementation of GLS at the habituation stage had been carried in grade IV, marked by 15-minute reading activities every morning, providing a reading corner, selecting books according to student interests, and involving the public such as parents in supporting literacy activities at home. However, there are several obstacles such as limited collection of non-textbooks and uneven implementation of GLS in all classes. This study concludes that the implementation of the habituation stage in GLS in class IV SDN A went quite well but not optimally.
