Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh destination image drama Korea, involvement, dan place attachment terhadap minat berkunjung wisatawan, serta menguji peran mediasi dalam hubungan antar variabel tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan Structural Equation Model – Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS). Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik purposive sampling terhadap 279 responden yang memenuhi kriteria telah menonton drama Korea berlatar Pulau Jeju minimal 1 kali. Analisis data dilakukan untuk menguji hubungan kausal antar variabel penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan destination image terbukti berpengaruh signifikan terhadap involvement dan place attachment, namun tidak berpengaruh langsung terhadap minat berkunjung. Involvement dan place attachment keduanya berpengaruh signifikan terhadap minat berkunjung. Temuan yang menarik adalah destination image tidak berpengaruh langsung terhadap minat berkunjung, namun memiliki pengaruh tidak langsung melalui peran mediasi involvement. Hal tersebut membuktikan adanya proses kompleks dalam memunculkan keinginan untuk berkunjung melalui keterlibatan (involvement) dan keterikatan pada tempat (place attachment) terlebih dahulu. Destination image, involvement, dan place attachment dapat mempengaruhi pariwisata budaya melalui Korean wave. Temuan ini berkontribusi terhadap pemahaman Korean wave dalam konteks pariwisata serta implikasi bagi pengembangan pariwisata melalui tayangan film atau drama. The Korean Wave has become a significant global cultural phenomenon that has influenced South Korea's tourism industry, particularly through television dramas that feature tourist destinations such as Jeju Island. This study aims to analyze the influence of Korean drama destination image, involvement, and place attachment on tourist interest in visiting, as well as to test the mediating role in the relationship between these variables. This study employs a quantitative method using the Structural Equation Model – Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) approach. Sampling was conducted using purposive sampling techniques on 279 respondents who met the criteria of having watched Korean dramas set on Jeju Island at least once. Data analysis was performed to test the causal relationships among the study variables. The results indicate that destination image significantly influences involvement and place attachment but does not directly influence visit intention. Both involvement and place attachment significantly influence visit intention. An interesting finding is that destination image does not directly influence visitation interest, but has an indirect influence through the mediating role of involvement. This proves that there is a complex process in generating the desire to visit through involvement and place attachment first. Destination image, involvement, and place attachment can influence cultural tourism through the Korean Wave.
