Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain pre-eksperimen one group pretest-posttest. Subjek penelitian adalah 24 siswa kelas IV di salah satu sekolah dasar di Kecamatan Batununggal, Kota Bandung. Instrumen berupa angket sikap cinta damai sebanyak 12 butir pernyataan yang telah teruji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan skor sikap cinta damai setelah penerapan metode role playing. Rata-rata skor pretest berada pada kategori rendah, sedangkan skor posttest meningkat ke kategori tinggi. Uji paired sample t-test menunjukkan perbedaan signifikan antara pretest dan posttest, sedangkan perhitungan N-Gain berada pada kategori sedang. Dengan demikian, metode role playing terbukti efektif dalam menguatkan sikap cinta damai siswa sekolah dasar. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of the role playing method in strengthening peace-loving attitudes among elementary school students. A quantitative approach with a pre-experimental one-group pretest-posttest design was employed. The participants were 24 fourth-grade students from an elementary school in Batununggal District, Bandung City. The instrument used was a peace-loving attitude questionnaire consisting of 12 validated and reliable items. The results revealed an increase in students’ peace-loving attitude scores after the implementation of the role playing method. The pretest scores were categorized as low, while the posttest scores improved to the high category. The paired sample t-test indicated a significant difference between pretest and posttest results, while the N-Gain value was categorized as medium.
