Maka dari itu perlu adanya pemahaman terkait motivasi wisatawan khususnya terhadap generasi Milenial dan generasi Z dalam merancang strategi dan mampu meningkatkan kualitas pengalaman wisatawan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor motivasi yang mempengaruhi wisatawan dalam mengunjungi destinasi wisata heritage di Taman Wisata Candi Borobudur. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif dengan melalui penyebaran kuesioner kepada 205 responden yang merupakan wisatawan nusantara. Analisis data dilakukan dengan teknik analisis faktor dengan bantuan software SPSS versi 26. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan dari 32 elemen yang analisis menghasilkan delapan faktor baru, diantaranya Faktor Facilities & Accessibility, Faktor Relaxation & Social, Faktor Historical Value & Popularity, Faktor History Education, Faktor Natural Attraction & Freedom, Faktor Travel Experience & Self-Recovery, Faktor Intergenerational Cultural Education, dan Faktor Outdoor Activities & Social Connections. Faktor Attractiveness & Accesibility menjadi faktor yang paling dominan di antara kedelapan faktor kebaruan yang terbentuk karena memiliki nilai eigenvalues tertinggi. This research is motivated by the significant fluctuations in tourist visits to Borobudur Temple over the past five years. Therefore, it is necessary to understand tourist motivation, particularly among the Millennial and Generation Z cohorts, in order to design effective strategies and enhance the quality of the visitor experience. The purpose of this study is to analyze the motivational factors that influence tourists in visiting the heritage tourism destination at Borobudur Temple Tourism Park. This study employs a quantitative approach using a descriptive method by distributing questionnaires to 205 respondents, all of whom are domestic tourists. Data analysis was conducted using factor analysis techniques with the assistance of SPSS version 26. The results of this study show that out of 32 analyzed elements, eight new factors were identified, namely: Facilities & Accessibility, Relaxation & Social, Historical Value & Popularity, History Education, Natural Attraction & Freedom, Travel Experience & Self-Recovery, Intergenerational Cultural Education, and Outdoor Activities & Social Connections.
