Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif korelasional. Sampel terdiri dari 42 siswa kelas V dari dua sekolah dasar di Kota dan Kabupaten Tasikmalaya. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Hasil analisis deskriptif menunjukkan bahwa minat belajar siswa berada dalam kategori tinggi, dengan nilai rata-rata 30,19. Penerapan Reward oleh guru juga berada dalam kategori tinggi, dengan rata-rata 21,52. Hasil uji korelasi Pearson menunjukkan terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara Reward dan minat belajar (r = 0,665; p = 0,000). Analisis regresi linier sederhana menunjukkan bahwa Reward memberikan kontribusi sebesar 44,2% terhadap variasi minat belajar siswa. Dilihat dari jenis kelamin, siswa perempuan memiliki rata-rata minat belajar lebih tinggi (31,10) dibandingkan siswa laki-laki (29,29). Korelasi antara Reward dan minat belajar juga lebih kuat pada siswa perempuan (r = 0,757; R² = 0,573) dibandingkan siswa laki-laki (r = 0,579; R² = 0,335). Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa Reward cenderung lebih efektif dalam meningkatkan minat belajar siswa perempuan. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan agar guru menerapkan Reward secara adaptif sesuai karakteristik siswa untuk mengoptimalkan hasil belajar. This study aims to examine the influence of Reward implementation on the learning interest of fifth-grade students in the IPAS subject, as well as to explore the tendency of differences in response based on gender. The research employed a quantitative correlational method, involving 42 fifth-grade students from two elementary schools in the City and Regency of Tasikmalaya. Data were collected through questionnaires that had been tested for validity and reliability. Descriptive analysis showed that students’ learning interest was in the high category, with a mean score of 30.19. The implementation of Rewards by teachers was also categorized as high, with a mean score of 21.52. Pearson correlation analysis revealed a significant positive relationship between Reward and learning interest (r = 0.665; p = 0.000). Simple linear regression analysis indicated that Rewards contributed 44.2% to the variation in students’ learning interest. In terms of gender, female students had a higher average learning interest (31.10) than male students (29.29). The correlation between Reward and learning interest was also stronger among female students (r = 0.757; R² = 0.573) compared to male students (r = 0.579; R² = 0.335). These results suggest that Reward tends to be more effective in increasing learning interest among female students.
