Pembelajaran sejarah yang dominan bersifat naratif dan kurang kontekstual belum sepenuhnya menjawab tantangan integrasi nilai-nilai ekologi dalam materi pembelajaran. Selain itu, terbatasnya penggunaan media digital dalam pembelajaran sejarah menyebabkan kurangnya daya tarik serta rendahnya pemahaman peserta didik terhadap materi sejarah dan isu-isu lingkungan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar sejarah berbasis digital dalam bentuk flipbook yang dirancang untuk meningkatkan kecerdasan ekologis peserta didik melalui pendekatan interaktif, kontekstual, dan visual yang relevan dengan kehidupan sehari-hari peserta didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Research and Development (R&D) berdasarkan model Borg and Gall yang disederhanakan menjadi tiga tahap utama: studi pendahuluan, pengembangan model, dan uji coba efektivitas. Subjek penelitian melibatkan peserta didik dan guru sejarah dari empat SMK Pertanian di Jawa Barat dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, angket, dokumentasi, serta uji validitas dan efektivitas produk. Flipbook digital yang dikembangkan terbukti efektif meningkatkan dimensi-dimensi kecerdasan ekologis peserta didik, seperti kesadaran konservasi, partisipasi dalam pelestarian lingkungan, dan pemahaman kritis terhadap dampak ekologis peristiwa sejarah. Guru dan peserta didik memberikan respons positif terhadap flipbook, khususnya dalam aspek keterbacaan, relevansi, dan daya tarik visual. Flipbook digital sebagai bahan ajar sejarah bukan hanya memperkaya proses pembelajaran secara pedagogis, tetapi juga mampu menjadi media strategis untuk membangun kesadaran ekologis peserta didik secara holistik. Produk ini sejalan dengan semangat Kurikulum Merdeka yang menekankan pembelajaran kontekstual, kolaboratif, dan berbasis proyek. Kata Kunci: Bahan Ajar Digital, Flipbook, Kecerdasan Ekologis The limited ecological awareness among students, particularly those enrolled in agricultural vocational high schools (SMK) in West Java, presents a significant challenge in aligning education with 21st-century sustainability goals. Conventional history instruction, often centered on rote learning and detached from real-life environmental concerns, has proven inadequate in fostering ecological literacy. Moreover, the underutilization of digital teaching materials further contributes to students' lack of engagement and difficulty in comprehending historical content within an ecological framework. This study aims to design and develop a digital history teaching material in the form of a flipbook that effectively integrates ecological values. The purpose is to enhance students’ ecological intelligence by delivering content that is visually engaging, contextually relevant, and interactive, thus fostering both historical understanding and environmental consciousness. The research adopted a Research and Development (R&D) approach adapted from the Borg and Gall model, condensed into three key stages: preliminary study, model development, and effectiveness testing. Data were collected through surveys, interviews, classroom observations, documentation, and product validation trials involving history teachers and Grade XI students from four agricultural vocational schools in West Java. The developed digital flipbook significantly improved various aspects of ecological intelligence, including environmental knowledge, sustainability awareness, active participation in ecological practices, and empathetic attitudes towards nature. Both teachers and students responded positively to the flipbook, noting its clarity, visual appeal, and relevance to everyday life and contemporary environmental issues. The digital flipbook functions not only as an effective pedagogical tool in history education but also as a medium for cultivating holistic ecological awareness among students. This innovation aligns with the objectives of the Merdeka Curriculum, which emphasizes project-based, contextual, and student-centered learning designed to prepare learners for real-world environmental challenges.
