Pengembangan multimedia dilakukan menggunakan model ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Tahap analisis menunjukkan rendahnya pemahaman kognitif siswa. Pada tahap desain, peneliti menyusun materi ajar, flowchart, ERD, serta instrumen soal yang divalidasi oleh ahli. Tahap pengembangan menghasilkan multimedia interaktif berbasis website melalui pengkodean, uji fitur, dan validasi. Hasil validasi memperoleh rerata 94% dengan kategori sangat layak. Implementasi dilakukan melalui pretest, pembelajaran PBL berbantuan multimedia, dan posttest. Evaluasi hasil belajar menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan. Nilai rerata pretest kognitif sebesar 60,65 meningkat menjadi 91,52 pada posttest, sedangkan rerata berpikir kritis meningkat dari 70,22 menjadi 93,04. Analisis n-gain memperoleh skor 0,75 untuk kognitif dan 0,72 untuk berpikir kritis, termasuk kategori tinggi dengan efektivitas cukup efektif. Uji t-test juga menunjukkan perbedaan signifikan sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan. Selain itu, tanggapan siswa terhadap multimedia berdasarkan instrumen TAM (Perceived Usefulness, Perceived Ease of Use, dan Acceptance) memperoleh skor 84% dalam kategori sangat baik. Dengan demikian, penerapan model PBL berbantuan multimedia interaktif terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman kognitif dan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa SMK. This study aims to implement an interactive multimedia-assisted Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model to improve the cognitive understanding and critical thinking of vocational high school students in the subject of Algorithms and Programming. The multimedia was developed using the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The analysis stage showed low cognitive understanding among students. In the design stage, the researcher compiled teaching materials, flowcharts, ERDs, and question instruments that were validated by experts. The development stage produced website-based interactive multimedia through coding, feature testing, and validation. The validation results obtained an average of 94% with a very feasible category. Implementation was carried out through a pretest, multimedia-assisted PBL learning, and a posttest. The evaluation of learning outcomes showed a significant increase. The average cognitive pretest score of 60.65 increased to 91.52 on the posttest, while the average critical thinking score increased from 70.22 to 93.04. The n-gain analysis obtained a score of 0.75 for cognitive and 0.72 for critical thinking, which is in the high category with sufficient effectiveness. The t-test also showed a significant difference before and after the treatment. In addition, student responses to multimedia based on the TAM instrument (Perceived Usefulness, Perceived Ease of Use, and Acceptance) scored 84% in the excellent category. Thus, the application of the interactive multimedia-assisted PBL model proved to be effective.
