Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menyusun data kebutuhan materi kimia dalam bentuk outline yang sesuai dengan kompetensi siswa di SMK Teknik Bodi Kendaraan Ringan (TBKR). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif evaluatif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Fokus penelitiannya adalah materi kimia pada mata pelajaran Projek IPAS, DDTO, dan mata pelajaran kejuruan TBKR. Partisipan terdiri dari guru Projek IPAS, guru DDTO, dan guru kejuruan TBKR. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara dan reviu. Analisis data meliputi hasil wawancara dan lembar reviu terkait pemetaan materi kimia, penentuan ruang lingkup materi, dan telaah konten dan konteks kimia di SMK kompetensi keahlian TBKR. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) materi kimia pada mata pelajaran Projek IPAS dan DDTO belum sepenuhnya sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa kompetensi keahlian TBKR; (2) terdapat materi kimia yang berpotensi mendukung pembelajaran produktif di TBKR namun belum tercakup dalam mata pelajaran Projek IPAS dan DDTO; (3) cakupan materi kimia yang mendukung keterampilan vokasional telah disusun dalam urutan penyajian dan dikaitkan dengan konteks kompetensi keahlian TBKR dalam bentuk outline; dan (4) konten dan konteks kimia pada mata pelajaran kejuruan relevan dengan kebutuhan peserta didik kompetensi keahlian TBKR. Outline yang dihasilkan terdiri dari 18 topik kimia yang siap dikembangkan lebih lanjut menjadi bahan ajar khusus untuk SMK kompetensi keahlian TBKR. The elaboration of adaptive subjects into the science project subjects in vocational schools only provides a basic introduction to chemistry content, so that the depth of chemistry material studied by grade X students is increasingly reduced. The purpose of this study is to compile data on chemistry material needs in the form of an outline that is in accordance with student competencies at Light Vehicle Body Engineering (TBKR) Vocational Schools. This study uses a descriptive evaluative method with a qualitative approach. The focus of the study is chemistry material in the science project subjects, DDTO, and TBKR vocational subjects. Participants consisted of science project teachers, DDTO teachers, and TBKR vocational teachers. Data were obtained through interviews and reviews. Data analysis included the results of interviews and review sheets related to chemistry material mapping, determining the scope of the material, and reviewing the content and context of chemistry in TBKR expertise competency vocational schools. The results of the study indicate that: (1) chemistry material in the science project subjects and DDTO is not fully in accordance with the needs of TBKR expertise competency students; (2) there is chemistry material that has the potential to support productive learning in TBKR but has not been covered in the science project subjects and DDTO; (3) the scope of chemistry material that supports vocational skills has been arranged in a presentation sequence and linked to the context of TBKR expertise competency in the form of an outline; and (4) the content and context of chemistry in vocational subjects are relevant to the needs of TBKR expertise competency students. The resulting outline consists of 18 chemistry topics that are ready to be further developed into special teaching materials for TBKR expertise competency vocational schools.
