Metode yang digunakan adalah Design and Development (D&D) mengacu pada model pengembangan multimedia Alessi & Trollip dengan pendekatan mixed-methods. Subjek penelitian meliputi siswa kelas 8D SMPN 1 Parongpong, seorang guru sebagai ahli materi, dan seorang dosen sebagai ahli media. Tahap planning menghasilkan identifikasi karakteristik siswa. Batasan perangkat keras, seperti tidak tersedianya headset dan microphone, memfokuskan pengembangan pada keterampilan menulis. Tahap design meliputi pengembangan ide konten, analisis tugas dan konsep, perumusan tujuan pembelajaran (intellectual skills), penentuan media modul interaktif dengan metode drill and practice, serta penyusunan flowchart dan storyboard. Tahap development mencakup pembuatan teks dan grafis bergaya pixelated retro, perakitan modul dengan Lumi Education, dan unggahan modul ke Github dan MoodleCloud. Uji ahli (alpha testing) menunjukkan modul layak diuji coba. Uji coba kelompok kecil (beta testing) mengidentifikasi beberapa perbaikan yang kemudian direvisi. Validasi akhir pada 33 siswa menunjukkan 79% siswa memberikan respon positif pada angket dan 73% siswa mencapai skor di atas KKM dengan rata-rata nilai 77 pada pengerjaan modul. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa modul interaktif yang dikembangkan memenuhi tujuan pembelajaran dan layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris di SMP. This study aims to describe the development process of an interactive module based on HTML5 Package for English subjects, focusing on writing skills. The method used is Design and Development (D&D), referring to the Alessi & Trollip multimedia development model with a mixed-methods approach. The research subjects included eighth-grade students of SMPN 1 Parongpong, a teacher as a subject matter expert, and a lecturer as an instructional media expert. The planning phase identified student characteristics. Hardware limitations, such as the unavailability of headsets and microphones, focused the development on writing skills. The design phase included developing content ideas, task and concept analysis, formulating learning objectives (intellectual skills), determining interactive module with drill and practice method, and preparing flowcharts and storyboards. The development phase covered creating pixelated retro-style text and graphics, assembling the module with Lumi Education, and uploading the module to Github and MoodleCloud. Expert testing (alpha testing) showed that the module was feasible for a trial. A small-group trial (beta testing) identified several improvements that were subsequently revised. Final validation on 33 students showed that 79% of students gave a positive response to the questionnaire and 73% of students achieved a score above the KKM with an average score of 77 on the module work.
