Metode yang digunakan yaitu menggunakan metode pre-eksperimental dalam bentuk one shot case study. Partisipan penelitian terdiri dari 33 siswa SMA kelas XI MIPA semester genap tahun ajaran 2024/2025 yang belum mempelajari materi asam basa submateri indikator universal mengenai indikator universal bahan alam. Penelitian ini diawali dengan menganalisis karakteristik media aplikasi simulasi. Informasi yang diperoleh pada tahap analisis karakteristik media menjadi pertimbangan untuk menentukan model pembelajaran yang sesuai dan sebagai acuan dalam pembuatan modul ajar. Keterlaksanaan pembelajaran diperoleh dari hasil lembar observasi dan respons siswa pada Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS). Sedangkan pemahaman konsep siswa diperoleh dari analisis Chi Square nilai siswa pada Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS). Hasil analisis karakteristik menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi simulasi memiliki fitur interaktif yang memungkinkan siswa melakukan simulasi pembuatan indikator alami, membuat dan menguji trayek pH, serta menguji pH dari sampel secara virtual. Model pembelajaran yang memiliki potensi optimal dalam mendukung media aplikasi simulasi adalah model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing. Penerapan model inkuiri terbimbing dengan aplikasi simulasi ini terlaksana dengan baik. Pemahaman konsep siswa setelah pembelajaran menggunakan aplikasi simulasi menunjukkan pemahaman konsep siswa berada pada kategori tinggi. Dengan rincian 28 siswa berada pada kategori sangat tinggi dan 5 siswa berada pada kategori tinggi. Hasil uji Chi Square menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antar siswa dalam pemahaman konsep dan berada pada kategori sangat tinggi. This study aims to determine the effect of implementing simulation-assisted learning using the Universal Indicator of Natural Materials Practicum on students' conceptual understanding. The method used is a pre-experimental method in the form of a one-shot case study. The research participants consisted of 33 high school students in the 11th grade of the Natural Sciences program in the even semester of the 2024/2025 academic year who had not yet studied the sub-material on universal indicators regarding universal indicators of natural materials. This study began with an analysis of the characteristics of the simulation application media. The information obtained during the media characteristic analysis stage was considered in determining the appropriate learning model and as a reference in developing the teaching module. The implementation of learning was obtained from the results of observation sheets and student responses on the Student Worksheet (LKS). While the understanding of students' concepts was obtained from the Chi Square analysis of student scores on the Student Worksheet (LKS). The results of the characteristic analysis show that the simulation application has interactive features that allow students to simulate the creation of natural indicators, create and test pH trajectories, and test the pH of samples virtually. The learning model that has optimal potential in supporting simulation application media is the guided inquiry learning model. The application of the guided inquiry model with this simulation application was carried out well. Students' conceptual understanding after learning using the simulation application shows that their conceptual understanding is in the high category. In detail, 28 students are in the very high category and 5 students are in the high category.
