Salah satu konsep fundamental dalam materi fisika adalah gelombang bunyi. Namun, hasil observasi, penyebaran angket, dan wawancara menunjukan bahwa pemahaman konsep peserta didik masih tergolong rendah. Kondisi ini menunjukan perlunya pembelajaran yang tidak hanya membantu peserta didik dalam mengkonstruksi konsep secara sistematis, tetapi juga dilengkapi dengan asesmen formatif untuk memantau pemahaman konsep. Salah satu alternatif yang dapat digunakan adalah integrasi asesmen formatif focused listing dalam sebuah pembelajaran guna meningkatkan pemahaman konsep peserta didik. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektivitas integrasi asesmen formatif focused listing pada pembelajaran Concept Attainment Models (CAM) dalam meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman konsep peserta didik SMA pada materi gelombang bunyi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi experimental design dengan desain Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Sampel pada penelitian ini melibatkan 65 peserta didik kelas XI di salah satu SMA Negeri di Kabupaten Garut, terdiri dari 35 peserta didik di kelas eksperimen dan 30 peserta didik di kelas kontrol. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu tes pemahaman konsep, tes formatif focused listing, angket respon peserta didik, serta lembar wawancara semi terstruktur. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa integrasi asesmen formatif focused listing efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konsep gelombang bunyi. Dengan demikian, penerapan asesmen formatif focused listing pada pembelajaran CAM dapat menjadi alternatif strategi evaluasi pembelajaran yang mendorong keterlibatan aktif peserta didik dan memperkuat pemahaman konsep, khususnya pada materi fisika gelombang bunyi. Students' understanding of concepts is an indicator of success in learning. One of the fundamental concepts in physics is sound waves. However, observations, questionnaires, and interviews show that students' understanding of this concept is still low. This condition shows the need for learning that not only helps students construct concepts systematically but also is equipped with formative assessment to monitor concept understanding. One alternative that can be used is the integration of formative assessment focused listing in learning to improve students' concept understanding. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of integrating formative assessment focused listing in Concept Attainment Models (CAM) learning in improving high school students' conceptual understanding of sound waves. The research method used was a quasi-experimental design with a Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The sample in this study involved 65 students in grade XI at a public high school in Garut Regency, consisting of 35 students in the experimental class and 30 students in the control class. The data collection techniques used in this study were concept comprehension tests, formative focused listing tests, student response questionnaires, and semi-structured interview sheets. The results of the study indicate that the integration of formative assessment using focused listing is effective in improving students' understanding of sound waves.
