Masalah ini mendorong dilakukannya penelitian untuk mengevaluasi validitas asesmen Bimbingan dan Konseling (BK) sebagai dasar pemilihan mata pelajaran yang lebih objektif dan relevan. Asesmen BK berpotensi menjadi alat prediktif dalam pemetaan potensi serta penempatan murid, tetapi bukti ilmiah mengenai validitas prediktif terhadap prestasi akademik masih diperlukan. Penelitian ini bertujuan menilai pengaruh skor asesmen BK, meliputi Advanced Progressive Matrices (APM), Intelligence Structure Test (IST), Edwards Personal Preference Schedule (EPPS), dan Inventori Minat Pekerjaan (IMP), terhadap hasil belajar Kimia di tingkat SMA, serta menyusun formula prediktif dari temuan tersebut. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional tipe prediktif. Data sekunder diambil dari dokumentasi nilai rapor murid semester 1-6 dan skor mentah asesmen BK. Analisis data menggunakan uji signifikansi dan regresi linear berganda dengan trimming pada tingkat signifikansi 5\% (p {\ensuremath{<}} 0,05). Hasilnya menunjukkan variabel IQ, SE, GE, ME, RA, ZR, Agg, Ach, Exh, Aff, Dom, Int, Ord, Het, Suc, End, Me, Per, Out, Ss, Sci, Com, Art, Lit, Mus, Clr, dan Con (EPPS dan IMP) berpengaruh signifikan terhadap hasil belajar Kimia, baik positif maupun negatif. Temuan ini menegaskan validitas prediktif asesmen BK serta formula regresi yang dihasilkan dapat dijadikan dasar pemetaan potensi. Disarankan penelitian lanjutan secara longitudinal untuk menguji konsistensi model. Many students still have difficulty accurately identifying their potential and interests when selecting subjects, which can lead to misguided decisions in their educational and career planning. This issue forms the basis for this study, which aims to evaluate the validity of Guidance and Counseling (BK) assessments as a more objective and relevant foundation for subject selection. BK assessments, including the Advanced Progressive Matrices (APM), Intelligence Structure Test (IST), Edwards Personal Preference Schedule (EPPS), and Inventori Minat Peerjaan (IMP), have the potential to serve as predictive tools for mapping student potential and placement. However, scientific evidence regarding their predictive validity for academic achievement remains limited. This quantitative study uses a predictive correlational design, utilizing secondary data from student report card grades (semesters 1-6) and raw BK assessment scores. Data analysis was conducted using significance testing and multiple linear regression with trimming at a 5\% significance level (p {\ensuremath{<}} 0.05). The results show that variables such as IQ, SE, GE, ME, RA, ZR, Agg, Ach, Exh, Aff, Dom, Int, Ord, Het, Suc, End, Me, Per, Out, Ss, Sci, Com, Art, Lit, Mus, Clr, and Con (EPPS and IMP) have a significant positive or negative effect on Chemistry learning outcomes. These findings reinforce the predictive validity of BK assessments, and the resulting regression formula can be used as a reference for mapping student potential.
