%X Toko Timur Outdoor adalah toko penyewaan berbagai alat camping yang beroperasi di daerah Jatinangor. Sistem operasional toko masih menggunakan cara manual, sehingga mengurangi efisiensi pada beberapa aspek. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi dan memperbaiki proses bisnis melalui pengembangan website dengan menggunakan metode Business Process Improvement (BPI) yang terdiri dari tiga fase, yaitu Organizing for Improvement, Understanding the Process, dan Streamlining. Fase Organizing for Improvement akan melakukan pengumpulan data melalui proses observasi serta wawancara dengan pemilik dan pegawai toko, hasilnya terdapat permasalahan pada proses bisnis rekap nota penyewaan, proses pemesanan dan pengambilan barang, dan proses bisnis pengembalian barang. Fase Understanding the Process akan memodelkan proses bisnis yang bermasalah dengan menggunakan standar Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) dan disimulasikan untuk mengetahui tingkat efisiensinya. Fase Streamlining akan mengevaluasi proses bisnis saat ini (as is) menggunakan metode Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA), kemudian akan dibuat saran perbaikan proses bisnis saat ini, setelah itu proses bisnis yang baru (to be) akan dimodelkan dan disimulasikan. Setelah melakukan BPI, selanjutnya hasil simulasi antara proses bisnis saat ini (as is) dengan proses bisnis baru (to be) akan dibandingkan, hasilnya proses rekap nota penyewaan mencatatkan peningkatan efisiensi sebesar 96%, pada proses pemesanan dan pengambilan barang sebesar 43%, serta pada proses pengembalian barang sebesar 14%, meskipun tidak sebesar yang lain namun dengan pembuatan SOP untuk denda akan mengurangi efek kerugian yang terjadi pada toko. Kesimpulannya, hasil evaluasi dan perbaikan proses bisnis pada toko Timur Outdoor berhasil meningkatkan efisiensi serta dapat mengurangi kerugian pada toko.

Timur Outdoor is a rental store that provides various camping equipment and operates in the Jatinangor area. The store's operational system is still carried out manually, which reduces efficiency in several aspects. This study aims to evaluate and improve business processes through website development using the Business Process Improvement (BPI) method, which is divided into three phases—Organizing for Improvement, Understanding the Process, and Streamlining. The Organizing for Improvement phase involves data collection through observation and interviews with the store owner and employees. The results identified problems in the business processes of rental note recording, equipment ordering and pickup, and equipment return. The Understanding the Process phase models these problematic processes using the Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) standard and simulates them to measure efficiency levels. The Streamlining phase evaluates the current (as-is) business processes using the Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) method and proposes process improvements. The new (to-be) business processes are then modeled and simulated. After implementing the BPI approach, simulation results show that the rental note recording process experienced a 96% efficiency improvement, the ordering and pickup process improved by 43%, and the return process by 14%. Although the improvement in the return process was not as significant, the development of a penalty standard operating procedure (SOP) helped reduce potential financial losses. In conclusion, the evaluation and improvement of business processes at Timur Outdoor successfully increased operational efficiency and minimized risks of loss.
