Penelitian ini bertujuan melakukan formulasi parfum dengan pendekatan ROI dan pendekatan OV. Bahan parfum yang digunakan terdiri atas benzil asetat, romandolida, geraniol, cashmeran, vanillin, javanol, etanol, dan aquades. Tahap awal pada formulasi parfum ditentukan aroma parfum yang diinginkan berdasarkan peta pikiran. Formulasi parfum pada pendekatan ROI dilakukan melalui tahapan penentuan ROI setiap senyawa, penentuan komposisi Headspace, dan proporsi jumlah senyawa yang dicampurkan. Formulasi parfum dengan pendekatan OV menggunakan aplikasi POSapp yang menghasilkan data fraksi mol, koefisien aktivitas, dan odor value setiap komponenen. Mutu fisik, stabilitas fisik, dan ketahanan aroma parfum dievaluasi berdasarkan SNI 16-4949-1998 dengan jumlah responden 30 orang yang tidak terlatih. Ditemukan, proporsi senyawa penyusun parfum berdasarkan pendekatan ROI, benzil asetat 2%, romandolida 34%, geraniol 33%, cashmeran 13%, vanillin 13%, dan javanol 2%. proporsi senyawa penyusun parfum berdasarkan pendekatan OV benzil asetat 8,6%; romandolida 62%; geraniol 6,3%; cashmeran 5,5%; vanillin 10,2%; javanol 1,8%; etanol 3,4%; dan aquades 2%. Odor Value (OV) benzil asetat 64.0081; romandolida 63.8657; geraniol 58.8428; cashmeran 54.2073; vanillin 72,0114; javanol 71.3836; etanol 0,00344; dan aquades 0,000005. Parfum hasil pendekatan ROI beraroma bunga mawar dengan nuansa kayu cendana, sedangkan parfum hasil pendekatan OV beraroma vanila dengan nuansa mawar dan kayu cendana. Parfum yang dibuat dengan kedua pendekatan memiliki ketahanan aroma hingga 15 jam, memenuhi SNI 16-4949-1998 pada evaluasi mutu fisik dan stabilitas fisik parfum, aman digunakan pada kulit dan tidak menunjukkan adanya reaksi eksematis, serta dapat diterima oleh masyarakat. The perfume ingredients consist of benzyl acetate, romandolide, geraniol, cashmeran, vanillin, javanol, ethanol, and aquades. The initial stage was determined the perfume scent through mind map. Perfume formulation by the ROI approach was carried out through determining ROI and Headspace for each compound. We used POSapp. on perfume formulation by an OV approach that output data of mole fraction, activity coefficient, and odor value of each component. The products were evaluated through SNI 16-4949-1998 by 30 untrained respondents. It found that the proportion of perfume by the ROI approach for benzyl acetate 2%, romandolide 34%, geraniol 33%, cashmeran 13%, vanillin 13%, and javanol 2%. The proportion of perfume through the OV approach for benzyl acetate 8.6%; romandolide 62%; geraniol 6.3%; cashmeran 5.5%; vanillin 10.2%; javanol 1.8%; ethanol 3.4%; and aquades 2%. Odor Value (OV) of benzyl acetate 64.0081; romandolide 63.8657; geraniol 58.8428; cashmeran 54.2073; vanillin 72.0114; javanol 71.3836; ethanol 0.00344; and aquades 0.000005. The perfume by ROI approach have rose with sandalwood undertones, whereas the perfume by OV approach have vanilla with rose and sandalwood nuances. Both formulations have longevity up to 15 hours and satisfied the SNI 16-4949-1998 for the evaluation of physical and stability. Also, the products show there no eczematous reactions.
