Guru memiliki peran penting dalam mengimplementasikan metode ini di kelas agar tujuan pembelajaran dapat tercapai secara optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi guru terhadap penggunaan metode storytelling dalam mengembangkan kemampuan bahasa anak usia dini, bagaimana implementasinya di kelas, serta kendala yang dihadapi guru selama penerapannya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan partisipan lima guru dari salah satu PAUD berbasis Islam di Kota Bandung. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam dan dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis tematik yang meliputi proses coding, pengelompokan tema, dan interpretasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru memandang storytelling sebagai metode yang efektif untuk merangsang kemampuan bahasa, meningkatkan fokus anak dalam menyimak, serta membangun komunikasi dua arah. Implementasi dilakukan dengan penggunaan media bantu, keterlibatan aktif anak, dan strategi mendongeng yang variatif. Kendala yang dihadapi meliputi keterbatasan media, perhatian anak yang mudah teralihkan, serta tantangan dalam pengondisian kelas.-------------Storytelling is one of the learning methods considered enjoyable and meaningful for early childhood, especially in language development. Teachers play an important role in implementing this method in the classroom to achieve optimal learning outcomes. This study aims to determine teachers' perceptions of the use of storytelling methods in developing early childhood language skills, how it is implemented in the classroom, and the obstacles faced by teachers during its implementation. This study employs a descriptive qualitative approach with five teachers from an Islamic-based early childhood education center in Bandung as participants. Data were collected through in-depth interviews and analyzed using thematic analysis techniques, including coding, theme grouping, and interpretation. The results of the study show that teachers view storytelling as an effective method for stimulating language skills, improving children's focus on listening, and building two-way communication. Implementation is carried out through the use of supporting media, active child involvement, and varied storytelling strategies.
