Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 15 siswa yang dipilih melalui teknik purposive sampling dari total 21 siswa kelas V. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi tes, wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan siswa dalam aspek menemukan informasi tersurat dari teks bervariasi, sebagian besar siswa mampu menemukan informasi secara tersurat, hanya 3 siswa belum mampu karena keterbatasan kelancaran membaca dan kurangnya usaha dalam mengakses informasi. Pada aspek menafsirkan dan mengintegrasikan isi bacaan, sebagian besar siswa belum memahami ide pokok, perubahan unsur cerita, dan hubungan antar informasi secara utuh, serta belum mampu menyusun inferensi dan membandingkan isi teks secara mendalam. Hanya sebagian kecil siswa yang menunjukkan pemahaman yang menyeluruh terhadap isi teks yang dibaca. Pada aspek kemampuan mengevaluasi dan merefleksikan isi bacaan juga masih rendah yang mana sebagian besar siswa hanya memberikan jawaban literal tanpa alasan logis, belum dapat mengaitkan isi teks dengan pengalaman pribadi, dan belum mampu menyimpulkan pesan moral secara utuh. Rendahnya kemampuan literasi membaca siswa kelas V dalam memahami, mengevaluasi dan mereflleksikan bacaan berdampak pada ketimpangan pembelajaran. Rekomendasi untuk sekolah melaksanakan pembiasaan membaca 15 menit sebelum memulai pembelajaran serta tindak lanjutnya. Guru juga perlu melatih siswa untuk membaca cermat. This study aims to describe the reading literacy skills of fifth-grade elementary school students in one of the elementary schools in Cimanggu District, Cilacap Regency in three aspects, namely finding information, interpreting and integrating, and evaluating and reflecting on the text content. The study used a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The research subjects were 15 students selected through purposive sampling techniques from a total of 21 fifth-grade students. Data collection techniques included tests, interviews, observations, and documentation. The results showed that students' abilities in the aspect of finding explicit information from the text varied, most students were able to find information explicitly, only 3 students were not able due to limited reading fluency and lack of effort in accessing information. In the aspect of interpreting and integrating the content of the reading, most students did not understand the main idea, changes in story elements, and relationships between information as a whole, and were not able to draw inferences and compare the content of the text in depth. Only a small number of students showed a comprehensive understanding of the content of the text read. In the aspect of the ability to evaluate and reflect on the content of the reading was also still low where most students only gave literal answers without logical reasons, were not able to relate the content of the text to personal experiences, and were not able to conclude the moral message as a whole. The low reading literacy skills of fifth grade students in understanding, evaluating and reflecting on reading have an impact on learning inequality. Schools are recommended to implement a 15-minute reading habit before starting lessons and follow-up activities.
