The demand for a workforce equipped with green skills is steadily increasing as the global industry shifts toward sustainable practices. However, vocational high school (SMK) graduates in the agribusiness sector, including those from SMKN PP Lembang, continue to face challenges in mastering these skills particularly in the areas of innovation, communication, and waste management. Coffee processing, a key learning commodity at the school, has not been fully utilized to instill sustainability principles, especially in managing production waste. Therefore, a contextual and practical learning approach is urgently needed. This study aims to examine the implementation of the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model and the improvement of students’ green skills at SMKN PP Lembang through coffee processing materials. The research employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) design based on the Kemmis & McTaggart model, involving 26 students from class XI APHP 4. Data were collected through observations of PjBL implementation and instruments developed according to five components of green skills. The results indicate that the implementation of the PjBL model by both teachers and students was categorized as “very good” in both cycles. Improvements in green skills were also evident from the N-Gain scores, which showed a “very good” category in environmental awareness and waste management, alongside significant increases in innovation, communication, and adaptability skills. These findings suggest that the PjBL model effectively supports the enhancement of students’ green skills by contextualizing sustainability issues within coffee processing practices. The novelty of this study lies in its contextual application of the PjBL model to coffee processing as a means to foster green skills in an agriculture-based vocational school setting. date: 2025-07-23 date_type: published institution: Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia department: KODEPRODI84211#Pendidikan Teknologi Agroindustri_S1 thesis_type: other thesis_name: other official_url: https://repository.upi.edu/ related_url_url: https://perpustakaan.upi.edu/ related_url_type: org citation: Mahesa Ayu, - and Mustika Nuramalia Handayani, - and Dwi Lestari Rahayu, - (2025) PENINGKATAN GREEN SKILLS SISWA SMKN PP LEMBANG MELALUI PENERAPAN PROJECT-BASED LEARNING PADAMATERI PENGOLAHAN KOPI.
