Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus, subjek penelitian terdiri atas seorang kepala sekolah dan dua guru TK, dengan data diperoleh melalui wawancara dan dokumentasi serta dianalisis menggunakan model interaktif Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sekitar 80% anak mengalami kecemasan berpisah pada minggu pertama sekolah dengan gejala seperti menangis, gelisah, menolak masuk kelas, hingga enggan berinteraksi. Faktor penyebab utamanya adalah pola asuh yang terlalu melindungi dan minimnya kesempatan sosialisasi. Guru berperan melalui pendekatan lembut, perhatian individual, pembelajaran berbasis bermain, serta komunikasi aktif dengan orang tua. Penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya kerja sama guru dan orang tua dalam mendukung kemandirian anak dan kelancaran masa transisi sekolah. ----- This study aims to describe the role of teachers in overcoming separation anxiety among early childhood students in kindergarten. Using a qualitative case study approach, the research involved one principal and two kindergarten teachers. Data were collected through interviews and documentation, then analyzed using Miles and Huberman’s interactive model. The findings reveal that around 80% of children experienced separation anxiety during the first week of school, showing symptoms such as crying, anxiety, clinging to parents, refusing to enter the classroom, and reluctance to interact. The main contributing factors were overprotective parenting and limited opportunities for social interaction outside the home. Teachers addressed these issues through gentle approaches, individual attention, play-based learning, and active communication with parents.
