Penelitian ini mengimplementasikan teknologi blockchain untuk menciptakan sistem penerbitan dan verifikasi e-certificate yang terpercaya, aman, dan transparan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Design and Development (D\&D). Metode D\&D adalah pendekatan penelitian yang berfokus pada perancangan, pengembangan, dan evaluasi produk atau model. Sistem yang dikembangkan adalah aplikasi berbasis web bernama CertiChain yang dirancang untuk menerbitkan dan memverifikasi keaslian sertifikat digital dengan memanfaatkan teknologi blockchain dan Non-Fungible Token (NFT). berdasarkan pengujian menggunakan metode blackbox fungsional sistem sudah sesuai dengan rancangan yang dibuat. Dalam segi fungsional web, dan integrasi serta blockchain dan website berfungsi sesuai dengan rancangan yang di harapkan. Penelitian ini berhasil mengimplementasikan CertiChain dengan teknologi blockchain, smart contract ERC-721, dan IPFS. Sistem mampu menjalankan seluruh alur penerbitan dan verifikasi sertifikat secara aman dan transparan, di mana sertifikat direpresentasikan sebagai NFT unik yang tidak dapat dipalsukan atau diubah. Penggunaan IPFS memastikan file PDF sertifikat tersimpan secara terdesentralisasi dan dapat diakses permanen, sehingga meningkatkan keandalan, keamanan, serta transparansi manajemen sertifikat digital. -------- With the rapid advancement of information technology, digitalization has increasingly penetrated various sectors, including administration and certification. In many cases, electronic certificates are vulnerable to forgery and data manipulation. This research implements blockchain technology to create a reliable, secure, and transparent system for issuing and verifying e-certificates. The study adopts the Design and Development (D\&D) method-a research approach focused on the design, development, and evaluation of products or models. The system developed is a web-based application called CertiChain, designed to issue and verify the authenticity of digital certificates using blockchain technology and Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs). Based on testing using the black-box functional method, the system functions as intended. In terms of web functionality and the integration between blockchain and the website, everything operates according to the planned design. This research successfully implements CertiChain using blockchain technology, the ERC-721 smart contract standard, and IPFS. The system is capable of securely and transparently carrying out the entire process of issuing and verifying certificates, where each certificate is represented as a unique NFT that cannot be forged or altered.
