Namun, hasil observasi dan wawancara di SMKN 4 Garut menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik masih rendah, serta kemampuan komunikasi dan kolaborasi belum berkembang secara optimal. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan 4C melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Group Investigation pada materi Perkembangan Teknologi di Industri Pangan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus dengan sampel sebanyak 34 peserta didik kelas X APHP SMKN 4 Garut. Teknik pengumpulan data mencakup observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran, pre-test dan post-test untuk mengukur keterampilan berpikir kritis, lembar observasi untuk menilai komunikasi dan kolaborasi, serta penilaian kreativitas melalui hasil karya peserta didik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model Group Investigation secara signifikan mampu meningkatkan seluruh aspek keterampilan 4C. Terdapat peningkatan pada kemampuan berpikir kritis, komunikasi, kolaborasi, dan kreativitas dari siklus 1 ke siklus 2. Dengan demikian, model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Group Investigation terbukti efektif dalam mengembangkan keterampilan 4C peserta didik pada pembelajaran materi Perkembangan Teknologi di Industri Pangan. Vocational high school students are expected to possess 21st-century skills, particularly the 4C skills: Critical Thinking, Communication, Collaboration, and Creativity. However, based on observations and interviews at SMKN 4 Garut, students' critical thinking skills were found to be low, while their communication and collaboration abilities were still underdeveloped. In response to these issues, this study aims to improve students' 4C skills through the implementation of the cooperative learning model, Group Investigation, in the topic of Technological Developments in the Food Industry. This research employed Classroom Action Research (CAR), conducted in two cycles, involving 34 tenth-grade students from the APHP program at SMKN 4 Garut. Data collection techniques included observation of learning implementation, pre-tests and post-tests to measure critical thinking, observation sheets for communication and collaboration skills, and creativity assessments based on students' project outcomes. The results showed that the Group Investigation model significantly improved all aspects of 4C skills. There was a notable increase in students' critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and creativity from cycle I to cycle II.
