Composter, Renewable Energy, PLTS, Energy Efficiency. note: https://scholar.google.com/citations?hl=en&user=hIm0xL4AAAAJ ID SINTA Dosen Pembimbing: Diky Zakaria: 6779007 Dewi Indriati Hadi Putri: 6720737 abstract: Penelitian ini merancang dan mengimplementasikan komposter otomatis berbasis Internet of Things (IoT) yang terintegrasi dengan Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Surya (PLTS) sebagai energi terbarukan untuk mengatasi masalah pengelolaan sampah organik sekaligus mendukung keberlanjutan energi. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE. Sistem dirancang untuk memantau suhu dan kelembapan secara real-time melalui sensor serta melakukan pengadukan otomatis menggunakan motor DC. Hasil uji menunjukkan waktu pengomposan dapat dipercepat menjadi 14 hari dengan kualitas kompos yang sesuai SNI 19-7030-2004 dan rata-rata penilaian kelayakan 90% dari praktisi. Dari sisi energi, panel surya 20 Wp menghasilkan total 1.321 Wh selama 14 hari, melebihi kebutuhan sistem sebesar 1.015,76 Wh dengan surplus 305,24 Wh. Efisiensi pemanfaatan energi tercatat 76,87% dengan cadangan baterai yang mampu menopang operasional ±23,8 jam tanpa pasokan panel. Temuan ini membuktikan bahwa integrasi IoT dan energi terbarukan mampu meningkatkan efisiensi pengolahan sampah organik sekaligus mendukung keberlanjutan energi dan lingkungan. ----- This study designed and implemented an automatic composter based on the Internet of Things (IoT) integrated with a Solar Power Plant (PLTS) as a renewable energy source to address organic waste management issues while supporting energy sustainability. The research employed the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model. The system was designed to monitor temperature and humidity in real time using sensors and perform automatic mixing with a DC motor. The test results showed that the composting process was accelerated to 21 days, producing compost that met SNI 19-7030-2004 standards with an average feasibility rating of 90% from practitioners. In terms of energy, a 20 Wp solar panel generated a total of 1,321 Wh over 14 days, exceeding the system’s requirement of 1,015.76 Wh with a surplus of 305.24 Wh. The energy utilization efficiency was recorded at 76.87%, while the backup battery could support operation for approximately 23.8 hours without solar input.
