Latar belakang penelitian ini didasarkan pada fenomena meningkatnya ketergantungan terhadap ponsel di kalangan remaja pasca pandemi COVID-19, yang ditandai dengan kurangnya fokus belajar, kecenderungan bermain gawai saat pembelajaran berlangsung, serta minimnya interaksi sosial langsung antar peserta didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei cross-sectional dan menggunakan convenience sampling. Partisipan pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas XI yang berjumlah 170 orang peserta didik dan data dikumpulkan menggunakan instrumen kuesioner nomophobia yang dikembangkan dari teori nomophobia dari Yildirim dan Correia. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar peserta didik berada pada kategori nomophobia sedang, yang berarti gangguan mulai memengaruhi aktivitas namun belum dalam tahap ekstrem. Dimensi yang paling menonjol adalah kehilangan keterhubungan, dan diketahui bahwa peserta didik perempuan cenderung lebih rentan mengalami nomophobia dibandingkan laki-laki. Berdasarkan temuan tersebut, dirumuskan rancangan layanan bimbingan kelompok hipotetik sebagai bentuk intervensi preventif untuk mengurangi kecenderungan nomophobia di kalangan peserta didik. This study aims to design a group counseling service to reduce the tendency of nomophobia among 11th-grade students at SMA Pasundan 8 Bandung. The background of this research is based on the phenomenon of increasing smartphone dependency among adolescents after the COVID-19 pandemic, characterized by lack of focus during learning, a tendency to play mobile games during class, and limited face-to-face social interaction among students. This research employed a quantitative approach using a cross-sectional survey method and convenience sampling. The participants consisted of all 11th-grade students, totaling 170 individuals. Data were collected using a nomophobia questionnaire developed based on Yildirim and Correia’s theory of nomophobia. The results showed that the majority of students experienced a moderate level of nomophobia, indicating that it had begun to interfere with their daily activities but had not reached an extreme level. The most prominent dimension was the fear of losing connection, and it was found that female students were more vulnerable to nomophobia than male students.
