Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi komposisi, distribusi, serta pengaruh parameter fisika, kimia, dan oseanografi terhadap sampah laut. Penelitian dilaksanakan April–Juni 2025 di tiga stasiun menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif dan transek sepanjang 50 meter. Data dalam penelitian ini diklasifikasikan berdasarkan jenis sampah menurut pedoman KLHK (2020), yang mencakup kategori organik dan anorganik, serta berdasarkan ukuran yang terdiri atas makro dan meso-debris, serta dianalisis terhadap suhu, pH, salinitas, DO, dan data oseanografi. Hasil menunjukkan sampah makro 263,871 kg (92,407% plastik) dan meso 434,6 g (75,450% plastik). Distribusi tertinggi tercatat di Stasiun 3 (makro) dan Stasiun 1 (meso). Suhu berpengaruh signifikan terhadap sampah anorganik makro (r = 0,598) dan meso (r = 0,612). Parameter pH, salinitas, dan DO menunjukkan hubungan negatif. Arah angin tenggara, arus laut, dan pasang surut turut memengaruhi akumulasi sampah. Penelitian ini bertujuan menegaskan pentingnya pemahaman terhadap komposisi dan distribusi sampah laut sebagai dasar pengelolaan lingkungan pesisir yang terarah dan berkelanjutan. Identifikasi jenis dan sebaran sampah diharapkan dapat memberikan gambaran pola pencemaran serta menjadi acuan strategi mitigasi dan pengendalian sampah laut secara efektif. ; Pasir Putih Beach in Serang City is experiencing pollution due to the accumulation of marine debris. This study aims to identify the composition, distribution, and the influence of physical, chemical, and oceanographic parameters on marine litter. The research was conducted from April to June 2025 at three stations using a quantitative descriptive method and 50-meter transects. Data were classified based on waste types according to the Ministry of Environment and Forestry (KLHK, 2020) guidelines, which include organic and inorganic categories, as well as by size into macro and meso-debris. Parameters analyzed included temperature, pH, salinity, dissolved oxygen (DO), and oceanographic data. Results showed a total of 263.871 kg of macro debris (92.407% plastic) and 434.6 g of meso debris (75.450% plastic). The highest distribution was recorded at Station 3 (macro) and Station 1 (meso). Temperature had a significant effect on inorganic macro debris (r = 0.598) and meso debris (r = 0.612), while pH, salinity, and DO exhibited negative correlations. Southeast wind direction, ocean currents, and tidal patterns also contributed to waste accumulation. This study underscores the importance of understanding the composition and distribution of marine debris as a basis for targeted and sustainable coastal environmental management.
