Praktik pertanian yang buruk terutama penggunaan pestisida yang tidak bijak menjadi penyebab permasalahan keseimbangan kehidupan di darat. Beriringan dengan perkembangan teknologi, informasi dan komunikasi, perlunya menanamkan keterampilan abad-21 untuk menangani beragam tantangan global tersebut. Keterampilan rekayasa dibutuhkan untuk memecahkan masalah dan mempersiapkan siswa untuk turun langsung ke lapangan. Maka dari itu, aksi peduli siswa terhadap kehidupan di darat perlu ditingkatkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pembelajaran proyek berbasis STEM-ESD SDG Life on land terhadap keterampilan rekayasa siswa dan peningkatan aksi siswa di SMA. Proyek yang dilakukan adalah pengembangan light trap menggunakan prinsip reverse engineering. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah pre-experiment dengan One Group Pre-test Post-test Design. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling dan diperoleh sampel sebanyak 72 siswa di salah satu SMA di kota Bandung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata nilai keterampilan rekayasa siswa adalah 81,7% dan termasuk kategori baik serta nilai N-Gain aksi siswa adalah 0.1172 berarti terjadi peningkatan dengan kategori rendah. Pembelajaran proyek STEM-ESD SDG Life on land pada materi pencemaran lingkungan berkontribusi dalam pengembangan keterampilan rekayasa dan mendukung peningkatan aksi siswa di SMA. Penelitian ini dapat menjadi langkah awal pendidikan di sekolah mulai memasukkan pembelajaran yang terintegrasi dengan STEM-ESD untuk mendukung nilai keberlanjutan dalam menghadapi tantangan global di masa depan. The loss of biodiversity and soil degradation are local and global issues that require serious attention. Poor agricultural practices, particularly the unwise use of pesticides, are causing problems with the balance of life on land. Along with developments in technology, information, and communication, there is a need to instill 21st-century skills to address these various global challenges. Engineering skills are needed to solve problems and prepare students to work in the field. Therefore, students' awareness of life on land needs to be increased. This study aims to analyze STEM-ESD SDG Life on Land project-based learning on students' engineering skills and increase student action in high school. The project carried out was the development of a light trap using the principle of reverse engineering. The research design used was a pre-experiment with a One Group Pre-test Post-test Design. The sampling technique used purposive sampling, and a sample of 72 students was obtained from one high school in Bandung. The results showed that the average engineering skill score of students was 81.7%, categorized as good, and the N-Gain score for student action was 0.1172, indicating an increase categorized as low.
