Banyak peserta didik cenderung meniru tanpa eksplorasi, sementara perangkat ajar yang digunakan masih bersifat umum dan belum kontekstual dengan kehidupan budaya lokal. Padahal, seni rupa merupakan salah satu sarana penting untuk menumbuhkan kreativitas peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sebuah modul ajar seni rupa berbasis Culturally Responsive Teaching pada materi motif batik khas Jawa Barat untuk meningkatkan kreativitas peserta didik Fase B di sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Design and Development (D&D) dengan mengadaptasi model ADDIE yang terdiri dari lima tahapan: Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation. Subjek penelitian adalah 23 peserta didik kelas IV di salah satu sekolah dasar di Kecamatan Margaasih. Hasil validasi menunjukkan bahwa modul ajar yang dikembangkan dinyatakan “Sangat Layak” dengan rata-rata skor validasi sebesar 95,1%. Implementasi modul juga menunjukkan efektivitas dalam meningkatkan kreativitas peserta didik, yang terlihat dari peningkatan nilai rata-rata dan skor N-Gain sebesar 0,49 (kategori sedang). Modul ini terbukti mampu mendorong kelima aspek kreativitas, yaitu kelancaran, keluwesan, keaslian, kerincian, dan elaborasi. Visual arts education in elementary schools has not yet fully encouraged students to express their creativity optimally. Many students tend to imitate rather than explore, while the teaching materials used are still general and lack connection to local cultural contexts. In fact, visual arts are a vital medium for fostering creativity. This research aims to develop a visual arts teaching module based on Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT), focusing on traditional batik motifs from West Java, to enhance the creativity of Phase B students in elementary school. The research adopted a Design and Development (D&D) approach using the ADDIE model, which consists of five stages: Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The participants were 23 fourth-grade students from an elementary school in Margaasih District. The validation results from experts in content, media, and instruction indicated that the module was “Highly Appropriate” with an average score of 95.1%.
