----- Childhood is a golden period for children's social development, where the surrounding environment plays a crucial role in shaping skills such as cooperation, empathy, communication, and conflict resolution. However, many young children still face difficulties in developing these skills due to conventional teaching methods and excessive screen time. A learning method that promotes natural social interaction within a supportive environment is needed. The Montessori method is considered an effective approach to foster early childhood social development through its core principles of freedom within limits, a prepared environment, and real-life practical activities. This study aims to describe the implementation of the Montessori method at TK Montessori Purwakarta and to identify the social development of early childhood students at the institution. This research employed a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were collected through direct observation, in-depth interviews with teachers and the school principal, and documentation. The results showed that the Montessori approach provided opportunities for children to build social interaction naturally, demonstrate responsibility, resolve conflicts independently, and cooperate empathetically with peers. These findings confirm that social development is not merely the direct result of a learning method but is shaped through consistent environmental support, meaningful routines, and real-life social experiences.
