Padahal keterampilan rekayasa dapat menjadi bekal bagi siswa dalam menghadapi isu permasalahan yang ada. Selain keterampilan rekayasa, siswa masih kurang memiliki kesadaran untuk melakukan aksi dalam menciptakan solusi terkait isu permasalahan yang ada saat ini, salah satunya yaitu krisis penggunaan energi bahan bakar fosil. Oleh karena itu, dibutuhkan pembelajaran yang menekankan pada pengembangan keterampilan rekayasa dan aksi dalam mencapai SDGs affordable and clean energy. Pembelajaran proyek STEM-ESD terkait affordable and clean energy menjadi model pembelajaran yang menekankan pembelajaran pada pemecahan masalah dalam kehidupan sehari-hari secara nyata melalui pengembangan teknologi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk memperoleh informasi terkait pembelajaran proyek STEM-ESD affordable and clean energy terhadap keterampilan rekayasa dan aksi siswa. Metode dan desain yang digunakan yaitu pre-eksperimental dengan one group pretest-posttest design. Penelitian dilakukan pada 65 orang. Pengambilan data menggunakan rubrik keterampilan rekayasa pada pembuatan reaktor biogas dan kuesioner aksi. Hasil dari penelitian pembelajaran proyek STEM-ESD dapat memunculkan keterampilan rekayasa dengan nilai 70 atau berada pada tahap berkembang serta dapat memberikan peningkatan pada aksi siswa sebesar 0,2372. Dengan demikian pembelajaran proyek STEM-ESD dapat menjadi model yang digunakan untuk memunculkan keterampilan rekayasa dan aksi dalam mengatasi isu keberlanjutan. Rekomendasi penelitian selanjutnya disarankan dalam kegiatan pembuatan proyek siswa diperkenalkan secara langsung terhadap alat yang ada kemudian aksi siswa dibuat menjadi jurnal harian. Learning that emphasizes engineering skills is still lacking in its application, especially in science learning. In fact, engineering skills can serve as a valuable tool for students in addressing existing problems. In addition to engineering skills, students still lack the awareness to take action in creating solutions related to current problems, one of which is the crisis of fossil fuel energy use. The purpose of this study is to obtain information related to the learning of affordable and clean energy STEM-ESD projects on students' engineering skills and actions. The method and design used are pre-experimental with a one group pretest-posttest design. The study was conducted on 65 people. Data collection used an engineering skills rubric on biogas reactor construction and action questionnaires. The results of the STEM-ESD project learning research can give rise to engineering skills with a score of 70, or are in the developing stage, and can provide an increase in student action by 0,2372. Thus, STEM-ESD project learning can be a model used to bring out engineering skills and actions in overcoming sustainability issues.
