Studi pendahuluan menunjukkan rendahnya motivasi belajar siswa, ditandai dengan kurangnya antusiasme, fokus, dan partisipasi dalam diskusi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode pra-eksperimen, khususnya desain one-group pretest-posttest. Populasi penelitian ini sebanyak 8 kelas, dan sampel yang terpilih kelas VIII-F dengan jumlah 33 siswa di SMPN 12 Bandung. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan angket motivasi belajar siswa berdasarkan teori ARCS (Attention, Relevance, Confidence, Satisfaction) dan observasi. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada motivasi belajar siswa setelah penerapan model TGT berbantuan Genially. Rata-rata skor motivasi meningkat setelah dilakukan perlakuan. Model TGT yang dipadukan dengan media Genially terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa secara signifikan, baik intrinsik maupun ekstrinsik, melalui pendekatan yang menyenangkan, interaktif, dan kompetitif. Pendekatan ini direkomendasikan sebagai strategi inovatif untuk meningkatkan semangat belajar siswa, khususnya pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of implementing the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) learning model supported by the interactive Genially media on students’ learning motivation, particularly in the Indonesian language subject at SMP Negeri 12 Bandung. Preliminary studies revealed low levels of student motivation, indicated by a lack of enthusiasm, focus, and participation in classroom discussions. The research employed a quantitative approach using a pre- experimental method, specifically the one-group pretest-posttest design. The population consisted of 8 classes, and the selected sample was class VIII-F, comprising 33 students at SMPN 12 Bandung. Data were collected through a student learning motivation questionnaire based on the ARCS theory (Attention, Relevance, Confidence, Satisfaction) and classroom observation. The results showed a significant increase in students' learning motivation after the implementation of the TGT model supported by Genially. The average motivation scores improved following the treatment. The TGT model, combined with Genially media, proved to be effective in significantly enhancing students’ learning motivation both intrinsic and extrinsic through an engaging, interactive, and competitive learning approach.
