Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tingkat academic engagement mahasiswa Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI) serta merancang layanan bimbingan untuk meningkatkannya. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif dengan desain cross-sectional. Partisipan penelitian ini berjumlah 390 mahasiswa aktif program S-1 UPI, yang dipilih menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui SInAPsi Academic Engagement Scale (SAES) yang telah divalidasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara umum, mahasiswa UPI memiliki tingkat academic engagement yang baik, dengan aspek emotional engagement sebagai yang paling menonjol. Namun, ditemukan variasi antar fakultas dan kampus daerah, serta ketidakseimbangan antara keterlibatan emosional dan perilaku. Implikasi penelitian ini mencakup rekomendasi kebijakan (policy brief), rancangan hipotetik layanan dan modul pelatihan untuk meningkatkan academic engagement melalui layanan bimbingan dan konseling, pelatihan dosen, serta pengembangan modul intervensi. Temuan ini diharapkan memberikan kontribusi penting bagi pengembangan layanan bimbingan di perguruan tinggi serta peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran, yang pada akhirnya mendukung keberhasilan akademik mahasiswa. Academic engagement is a crucial aspect of the learning process in higher education as it significantly impacts student achievement, motivation, and success. This study aims to describe the level of academic engagement among students at Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI) and design counseling services to enhance it. The research employs a descriptive quantitative approach with a cross-sectional design. Participants consisted of 390 active undergraduate students at UPI, selected using simple random sampling techniques. Data were collected using the validated SInAPsi Academic Engagement Scale (SAES). The results indicate that, overall, UPI students demonstrate good academic engagement, with emotional engagement being the most prominent aspect. However, variations were observed across faculties and regional campuses, along with an imbalance between emotional and behavioral engagement. The implications of this study include policy recommendations (policy brief), action plans, and training modules to improve academic engagement through counseling services, lecturer training, and the development of intervention modules.
