Penelitian menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan quasi eksperimen yang melibatkan dua kelas, yaitu kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen. Instrumen pengumpulan data berupa pretest dan post-test untuk mengukur hasil belajar kognitif siswa serta angket untuk mengetahui respon siswa terhadap media yang digunakan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan media video Youtube dengan siswa yang menggunakan metode pembelajaran konvensional. Dengan hasil rata-rata sebagai berikut kelas eksperimen sebesar 78,29 lebih besar dibanding kelas kontrol sebesar 63,50. Siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran menggunakan video youtube menunjukkan peningkatan hasil belajar yang lebih tinggi. Selain itu, respon siswa terhadap penggunaan video Youtube sangat positif karena materi yang disajikan lebih menarik, mudah dipahami, dan relevan dengan kehidupan sehari-hari. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa media digital berbasis video dapat menjadikan alternatif pembelajaran yang efektif untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa, terutama pada aspek kognitif. This study aims to examine the effect of using digital learning media based on YouTube videos on the learning outcomes of fourth-grade elementary school students, particularly on the topic of changes in the states of matter. The research employed a quantitative method with a quasi-experimental approach involving two groups: a control class and an experimental class. Data collection instruments included pretests and post-tests to assess students’ cognitive learning outcomes, and questionnaires to evaluate their responses to the learning media used. The findings revealed a significant difference in student achievement between those who used YouTube video-based learning and those who experienced conventional teaching methods. The experimental group achieved an average score of 78.29, higher than the control group's average of 63.50. Students who engaged with YouTube videos demonstrated greater learning improvement. Furthermore, student responses were overwhelmingly positive, citing that the content was more engaging, easier to understand, and highly relevant to real-life contexts.
