Guru tidak hanya sebagai pelaksana, tetapi sebagai penerjemah ide kurikulum ke pembelajaran di kelas. Pemahaman dan kesiapan guru berpegaruh pada keberhasilan implementasi kurikulum di sekolah atau kelas masing-masing, dimana penerimaan menjadi satu aspek penting untuk mengetahui kesiapan dan pemahaman guru. Penerimaan guru sekolah dasar (SD) menjadi hal penting karena memainkan peran pada keberhasilan suatu perubahan kurikulum. Sehingga rumusan permasalahan pada penelitian ini adalah bagaiman tingkat penerimaan guru dilihat dari aspek sikap, beban, etika, koherensi, efektivitas, efikasi, dan keuntungan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerimaan guru sekolah dasar (SD) terhadap perubahan kurikulum dari aspek sikap, beban, etika, koherensi, efektivitas, efikasi, dan keuntungan. Studi ini menggunakan penelitian kombinasi dengan model eksplanatori, dimana pada awal penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, kemudian dilanjutkan dengan menerapakan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan survei melalui sampel acak kepada 413 guru di Jawa Barat. Kemudian teknik wawancara melalui sampel bertujuan kepada 6 guru SD dan 2 kepala sekolah. Hasil dari studi ini menunjukkan bahwa penerimaan guru SD terhadap perubahan kurikulum dibangun dari 6 aspek, seperti sikap, beban, etika, koherensi, efektivitas, dan efikasi. Sementara pada aspek keuntungan atau peluang yang didapatkan bukan menjadi bagian dari penerimaan guru. Selanjutnya, lama guru memiliki keterkaitan yang signifikan dengan penerimaan, yang berarti semakin lama guru mengajar maka penerimaan juga tinggi. Artinya guru yang mengajar yang lebih lama akan lebih memiliki kesiapan dan pemahaman dalam perubahan karena pengalaman-pengalaman sebelumnya menjadi sumber informasi untuk implementasi kurikulum. Dengan demikian, penerimaan guru bisa menjadi alternatif untuk merancang pelatihan guru yang efektif dan perencanaan implementasi kurikulum. Teachers act as agents of change and are central to its successful curriculum implementation, especially in their school and classroom. They serve not only as implementers but also as translators of curriculum ideas into classroom learning. Teachers' understanding and readiness significantly influence the success of curriculum implementation at the school or individual classroom level, where acceptance becomes a vital aspect for determining their preparedness and comprehension. The acceptance of elementary school teachers is the key point on the success of a curriculum change. Therefore, the research problem is: in how the level of teacher acceptance viewed from the aspects, like attitude, workload, ethics, coherence, effectiveness, efficacy, and benefits. This research aimed to analyze the degree of acceptance of elementary school teachers towards curriculum changes from the aspects of attitude, workload, ethics, coherence, effectiveness, efficacy, and benefits. This study employs a mixed-methods research design with an explanatory sequential model, where the initial phase of the research utilizes a quantitative approach, followed by the application of a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques included a survey administered to a random sample of 413 teachers in West Java. Subsequently, interview techniques were employed with a purposive sample of 6 elementary school teachers and 2 principals. The findings of this study indicated that the acceptance of elementary school teachers towards curriculum changes is constructed from six aspects: attitude, workload, ethics, coherence, effectiveness, and efficacy. Meanwhile, the aspect of benefits or opportunities gained is not part of teacher acceptance. Furthermore, the long teacher worked had a relatedness with acceptance. This means that experienced teachers will have more readiness and understanding in change because previous experiences are a source of information for curriculum implementation.
