TY - THES Y1 - 2025/08/14/ N2 - Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh permasalahan rendahnya keterampilan menulis mengenai materi cerita pendek pada peserta didik kelas V sekolah dasar. Rendahnya keterampilan tersebut disebabkan oleh penggunaan model pembelajaran dan media yang kurang optimal dalam memfasilitasi proses pembelajaran, sehingga diperlukan model pembelajaran dan media yang mampu membantu serta memfasilitasi proses pembelajaran secara lebih efektif dan menarik bagi peserta didik yaitu model pembelajaran Think Talk Write berbantuan Media Visual Digital. Penelitian ini bertujuan unntuk menganalisis efektivitas penggunaan model pembelajaran Think Talk Write berbantuan media visual digital terhadap peningkatan keterampilan menulis cerita pendek peserta didik kelas V sekolah dasar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain pre-eksperimental yaitu bentuk one group-pretest posttest design. Sampel penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas V berjumlah 24 orang. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata nilai pretest adalah 70,63 dan rata-rata nilai posttest adalah 86,46. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data menggunakan SPSS Statistic 27 diperoleh bahwa hasil uji paired sample t-test menunjukkan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,001 < 0,05 yang artinya terdapat perbedaan rerata. Hasil uji perbedaan rerata terhadap skor N-Gain adalah 0,56 atau 56,79% yang menunjukkan kriteria keefektivan sedang. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan model pembelajaran Think Talk Write berbantuan media visual digital cukup efektif untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis cerita pendek. This research is motivated by the problem of low writing skills regarding short story material in phase C elementary school students. The low skills are caused by the use of learning models and media that are less than optimal in facilitating the learning process, so that learning models and media are needed that are able to help and facilitate the learning process more effectively and interestingly for students, namely the Think Talk Write learning model assisted by Digital Visual Media. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the use of the Think Talk Write learning model assisted by digital visual media on improving the short story writing skills of phase C elementary school students. The research method used is a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental design in the form of one group pretest posttest design. The sample of this study was 24 fifth grade students. The results of this study show that the average pretest score is 70.63 and the average posttest score is 86.46. Based on the results of data analysis using SPSS Statistics 27, it was obtained that the results of the paired sample t-test showed a significance value of 0.001 <0.05, which means there is a difference in the average. The mean difference test result for the N-Gain score was 0.56 or 56.79%, indicating moderate effectiveness. It can be concluded that the use of the Think Talk Write learning model assisted by digital visual media is quite effective in improving short story writing skill.
